I was thinking you know how you get a random event from Sebastian Phoenix, in which he takes 8% of your on hand sp. I was wondering if a game/feature could be made in which the users are allowed to strike back at him. It gives them a chance ones a day to ‘raid’ his plane and get a random amount of sp back each day. It can be called ‘Pirate Plunder’ if they want or something along those lines.

But neither Chase or the other NPC have random events like this, with Chase you chose to take that risk. With Phoenix you can get hit by just going onto the forums.

I like this idea, or (battler thought sorry) a random chance at getting him as an opponent

You should pay your taxes happily knowing that Subeta can afford to send all little kumoses to school just using them (and a little bit of duct tape).

I'd rather not have taxing as a RE. It gives you the wrong idea. I'd rather have a yearly event where we all beat up Phoenix pay taxes.

Unfortunately, I am sure that Sebastian Phoenix is supposed to be one of those "better than you" NPCs like the goddesses are, so I doubt we will be able to fight him.

Taxation events are meant to be anti-inflationary as they destroy sP. This makes them Good, in my opinion. I don't support anything that reduces taxation-keep your sP in the Vault, and if you're like me where you have a reason for having lots of sP around (I have one of the hugest shops on site) consider it part of doing business just like big box stores do in RL.

I remember keeping nine digits in "my pocket" for the taxation Achievement purposes, and still not getting this RE for a whole year.

Maleria has a Familiar (as yet unnamed, maybe a Facebook or Twitter contest?) we can fight. So a Royal Exchequer Agent might be "a thing".

But what Tier should this be? It takes a LOT of sP and time to get pets to Chase and Maleria's Familiar level. I know it was quite satisfying to beat up Saggitarius for all those times he shortchanged me, but this took me years.

Pretty much that. The point of the tax RE is to remove sP from the economy. Why would they change it so you could get money back?

I don't see any harm in making him a battle opponent, however.

I'm always up for more battle challengers, but I'd rather not get any more than the regular sP drops for battle opponents, as the point of the tax random event is to reduce inflation, by taking out some sP from the circulation. :)

It's all a part of the game, no tax refunds. If you don't want your sP taken then keep it in your vault or in your shop(s).

I support him(or his "goon(s)") as a battle challenger, but nothing more than that. Even at that, don't make his sP drop any more than what's usually given.
