lol oh god if i had to take public speaking i would cry i can't do that stuff man i'm so awkward and when i get nervous i get these weird pauses between my words and i tend to end my sentences with an inflection that makes it sound like a question? i don't know how to talk basically.

I feel the same way as you to a certain extent, and I've been here for a year posting on threads and making my own and friending a million people. The people on here are like... wow. So then it scares me to barge in sometimes, even though I know I can. But for the most part (I won't say always because that would be a lie) it turns out fine and I'm happy. People on here seem to be really nice, and as long as your nice as well you will find tons of people you love to hang out with and chat to. Look at the people your chatting to now! Most users are more or less like them. It's fun and exciting so you should really wander around and get to know the people.^^

Well, it doesn't happen exactly like that but I've came across really rude people like that on here. Other then that ONE exception who is now blocked, I've found that Subeta has a lot of really nice people who just want to make friends with people.

Like some others, I haven't made close friends on here, but I've found a few people who I bump into regularly and they're nice every time. As for close knit, I believe there is a group of 10-14 people planning on meeting up in May to spend a vacation together. They all met on here!

i also have a real life friend here, lol.. and i also blocked someone for i felt bothered by their behavior towards me because of a silly thing, lol the person also dared to "offer" a nasty comment on one of my trades, because she couldnt do it otherwise, lol

well if people react like that they're a douche and you should pay no heed to them anyway. i mean i could understand that reaction if they're like really racist or homophobic or some big no-no like that but.... yeah if you're just casually commenting on something (even if it's against the op's or whoever's opinions) there's no need to act like that! it's just immature.
