I'm still getting pinged multiple, multiple, multiple times :( So many pings :(

Yup, definitely hasn't been fixed yet. I'm getting lots of repeat pings.

Same here. I didn't have this problem before, but now I'm certainly having it.

It was okay until just a bit ago and I came back onto subeta to tons of pings for the subq restock and I know the shop wasn't restocking every minute or so.

Yea, this is clearly still an issue. My last ping (a group one, at that, sorry everyone!) is STILL sending. It must have sent over 40 times by now.

Apparently I just pinged the holy bejesus out of own of my forum groups but I didn't get picged myself. ;__;

How do I fix this?

I just got 59 pings for the same forum post and they are still coming at me, they don't seem to want to stop. As soon as I deleted the 59 they just kept coming, and are pinging me still as I write this.

I already have had nearly 60 odd pings and counting they are still coming thick and fast.please can someone fix this.

I came online to 152 pings. Subq just pinged the group and it's been going for about 2 minutes which doesn't sound like a lot but that means I've gotten 10 notifications for one ping.. and it's STILL GOING. (i'm leaving the group till this is fixed but damn!)

I just want to double check - you're sure that it's all from the same person? I've seen a few cases of people repinging, or other people pinging when they didn't see anyone get the ping :|

@ Keith For me it was two people pinging the group sbqrs. I had about 150 pings from Silverglow (http://subeta.net/forums.php/gotopost/53606817) . From Eric (http://subeta.net/forums.php/gotopost/53606910) just now I think I had about 20. And I'm not sure if the new pings canceled out the old ones, I didn't think to check that. They might not have. It looks like they just keep piling up as if the number of notifications does not equal the number of times a ping was activated.

People pinging the sbqrs group end up sending out massive amounts of pings...Seeing multiple continuing pings from two people right now for that group.

Uhm I also just left the group to avoid the pings and they are still coming through ._.

I am 110% sure that did not ping the sbqrs group 40+ times. But I have received 40+ events from his ONE ping.

I am also certain that he has not edited his post with the ping in the last 20 minutes, but I am still getting new events at a rate of about 5 per minute!!!

So many pings. Hundreds of pings.

@ Keith One of my group members ping us, and I'm also getting multiples. Thing is, they posted the ping at 5:19, no post edit either, and I'm now getting pings in roughly one a minute for the past few minutes.

edit: Looks like they stopped now.

The 60 odd pings I got was from the same person and they only pinged the group once

This is actually a different problem... I just got pinged so when I clicked on the link it redirected me to a completely different thread from the one that I was supposedly pinged on, not to mention this thread is locked and old (from 2012). Not sure if this is happening with all pings or just mine.

Logged on to 100+ pings, multiple from one group
