I love all of these ideas! We have tiled floors, so we definitely should have carpets and maybe some wood floors as well?

These could fade out by the middle of the avatar image, because right now the tiles can be annoyingly non organic, but please, more things that fill in the lower corners will be great! The numerous annoying backdrops that don't fill in the entire frame are really hard to match other pieces to. The rugs and other stuff don't cover enough DX

I like this idea a lot. It would be nice to have doorways and carpets for our avatars as it would change things up.

Oooooh, imagine how cozy a roaring fireplace item would be. I think it would be really cool to have items where you can basically construct a room around your HA in the wardrobe.

I definitely have been, the walls and floors, and even those comfy chair items layer well.

My brain kind of skipped to the part about the doorways with scenes behind them also applying to windows, and I didn't read the rest of the thread so I wasn't sure :P Either would be great but some transparent windows would be amazing!

I'd love all of this xD I keep trying to use giselle's kinkypole behind the wainscotting to create the illusion of windows, but then I tend to pick some cw to "blur" the bg a bit so it feels a tad more like it's behind a glass and this means it's a combination hard to replicate by other people ;-;

Yeah, as much as I love CWs, there's some items I just want on the site so everyone can use them.

I'd die for some windows or something. I tried so hard to do a window effect for my current HA, but couldn't make it work with what I had. Best I can do is this, which actually makes no sense because really, why would I be standing on a balcony with the outside behind me...?

But also, home-y HAs would be great, too.

Yup! The shortage of layerable background options always makes me sad :c We have some great stuff like the clouds is wearing, that's meant to be worn behind other items, but then we're going to layer it... with what ;-;

...what just reminds me we don't really have any official "home" bgs (like the ! even the is a cw, as much as that's on the CS) maybe except for the one I'm wearing now, but still so layerables could provide great alternatives ^-^

Both of those CWs are on my wishlist(aand the BG you are wearing!), I love those and it was actually the Area rug that made me want a room in the background of my HA.
