pfft ahs is awesome ok! D; I watched season one of ouat and loved it but then series too just started going down hill and I couldn't be bothered to carry on watching
I hear yeah, I think they planned on the show being a one hit wonder so season two is like something that was thrown together. it picks up later until the middle of season 3
was so excited to see a wicked reference but it was bleh...
SPOILER ALERT XD
Spoil away! I don't plan on watching anymore tbh, my list of things to watch is too long - if you bore me for an entire season then I give up xD
well season 4 seems interesting so it's back on my ❤ list... along with the bing bang theory XD
What's bing bang theory? I have so much on my to watch list ;-; I sort of abandoned orange is the new black when I started watching american horror story. But I did really like it, so that's next! Then gawd I'm like 10 years behind everyone else when it comes to tv because I only really watch things on netflix xD
Only two episodes are out for Season 4 but so far it's the best season yet. Emma's finally letting down her walls and accepting her family, there's lots of Captain Swan, Emma's happy and smiling a lot, Will Scarlet is going to be in Storybrooke, Elsa, Anna and Kristoph are amazing, the list goes on and on.
My only complaints are that Regina is still being a big baby and Belle's character is just getting worse.
Hey everyone! Just thought I'd come and introduce myself to the Once fans on Subeta.
I love the show, although I haven't seen any of the new season (I'm waiting for a friend to catch up so we can watch together). I live near where they film the show, so I've visited the set a few times and met the creators, as well as Colin O'Donoghue, and I'm hoping to meet Lana soon.
:).
I used to love the show until the writers started to kill it. Shoving every Frozen character into the show is clearly a way to try and increase ratings, at the expense of all the other characters. And don't get me started on the writers killing off Neal to make room for Captain Swan. They brushed off all the bad things Hook did just so they could have that specific romance. :/ OUaTiW was contrived at times, but at least it ended well. OUaT should've ended before now because it's just slipping.
Captain Swan is one of my least favorite ships ever along with Robin and Regina. I'm a diehard SwanQueen shipper though so I digress.
It's an okay show the writers just completely suck and this Frozen thing is weird. I love Elsa and Emma's friendship but seriously it's just Disney patting themselves on the back.
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
Acutally I think Hook was much more entertaining before. I always liked the character, but as boyfriend material for Emma? Nah, I don't see any chemistry here. They should have kept Neal instead.
May I ask why you ship SwanQueen? I've seen this idea a lot lately, not sure if I like it... Maybe. Then again, from worst enemies to lovers seems a rather big step, I'm actually happy that they are just slowly starting to get along a little better.
I'm not sure why I ship it. I like the idea of Henry having both his moms under one roof I guess. Plus I'm always for canon queer characters portrayed in the media as long as it is done correctly.
I just love the though of Regina and Emma together. I don't really have a good argument for or against it.

I'm in the middle of season 3 right now and I love Rumbelle to pieces <3 Really, it's the best part of the show to see those two act together, it truly warms my heart. I have to admit that I hate Mary Margaret/David. While they are okay in the past story as Snow/Charming, they totally unnerve me with their Storybroke characters. I LOVE Mr Gold/Rumple and Belle and Ruby <3
Hm. I see that there is a OUAT backdrop as a CW. But are there any other themed outfits/items that go along with this?

I hope Rumbelle gets back together and did anyone see that coming with the author? I did not see him as being.. an ass omg.. Also I hope Emma goes bonkers soon I want Regina to start saving the day!

I love this show but the writing is complete garbage now. There's too many subplots and not enough finished plot lines. (Where did Red go? I know the actress was cast in something else but still.)
That being said I really hope SwanQueen ends up happening. I don't know if I'll continue to watch though.

I think I stopped watching midway through season 3?
I did like the show a lot up until then (especially Rumple and Belle<3 ). The story lines were interesting and it was a nice twist on old tales. But I dunno, it started feeling tired after that. The family chemistry between Emma + the rest felt a little forced and I was frustrated to see Regina and Rumple constantly backsliding when it seemed they were progressing as characters. Rumple is what kept me watching the longest though. His actor is the best on the show and it really helps his character come alive.
Now if they EVER do a Lion King season I will be allllll over that season. I want it so bad that I would forgive, what in my opinion, is sometimes mediocre writing and acting. If you love the show though, keep enjoying what makes you happy :)
I love OuAT, it's one of the few modern day shows I actually watch on TV. But I have to agree with what others have said: I feel the earlier seasons were much better. That's when I really fell in love with it. The show seems to have been slowly declining since season three, in my opinion anyway. I think it's starting to feel like a mixed bag now that they're straying further from the classic fairy tales and throwing in everything from OZ to Frozen. I recently read that Merida from Brave is next in line to join the show. Nonetheless I continue to watch it. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Rumpelstiltskin or maybe I'm hopeful they can still recapture some of the magic from the early seasons.
I LOVE The Lion King, it's my favorite movie of all time (as you can probably tell by my signature lol). That being said I'm not sure how it'd work in the OuAT universe. Would the characters be CGI lions or would they change them into humans? Something more like the Broadway musical perhaps? It'd also be stepping way outside of the fairy tale realm. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it ever happens.
I imagined it would be costumed a similarly to the broadway costuming and that they would not be actual lions but the like the ruler of a kingdom. It does lack the fairy tale vibe but i could see Scar being up to some evil nonsense with other Storybook villains.
I used to be a fan, but I'm just hating it now. I finished season 4 and I want to rant so SPOILERS!

SPOILER (click to toggle)
The show really feels like they are just making things up as they go along. Season 4 with Zelena(The wicked witch) what the heck? Why is she back? So she was pretending to be Marian(Robin Hood's wife) the WHOLE time? Okay, I could accept that if it didn't come out of NOWHERE. There was no hint, no looking back and thinking, "Oh, that's pretty clever." Once Upon a Time twists are the equivalent of the generic soap opera. Just twists for the sake of them, it's pretty lazy writing.
Another thing that bothers me is that no one seems to stays dead. It was sad the first couple of times, now anytime someone "dies" I'm like okay, I'll probably see you soon, whatever. Rumpelstiltskin death was actually pretty emotional and was written well. As soon as he was alive again it really took the impact out of everything that just happened.
Also how come no one ever learns anything? They keep making the same mistakes or doing something so obviously stupid. The story literally goes in circles. Regina(The Evil Queen) she always fails with love no matter how much she tries, it's really getting ridicules.
I still watch the show because I am interested in a couple plot points, and Captain Hook is nice to look at, but I'm still pretty disappointed in the story.
I agree with you about Zelena. Never really liked that character, and I wasn't happy to see her back. I was glad to see Rumple back though. He's my fave character.
The Regina being unlucky in love thing is a bit much now. Henry will only keep her good for so long before she finally decides that being good doesn't get her anywhere either. She may as well just do what she wants at this point.
