Well I found out my wisdom tooth is pushing into the roots of the tooth next to it. If I hadn't gotten my braces I would have had enough room for the tooth to grow. So every time it gets 'closer' to popping out, it actually pushes itself into the roots of the other tooth. ):

If my retainer doesn't straighten it out, then it has to get surgically removed. D:

never had it, unless you count the braces-tightening pain, but that's not so bad :/ go say hello to the dentist? Sounds absolutely awful.

I don't get toothaches often, but my braces are constantly being adjusted, and so I get massive amounts of pain every four weeks or so for 2-5 days at a time (I have appointments every four weeks). I find that sleep, painkillers and ice cold food helps, because the pain from the cold distracts me from my teeth.

Don't do what I did when I had my last actual toothache and bite a metal pole. It hurts T_T.

Hopefully your teeth calm down soon! I can't believe something as tiny as teeth can hurt so much...

I don't remember the last time I had a toothache... well, I had cavities, but to be honest, the dentist's work on them made my teeth hurt worse than the cavities themselves. =/ Soooo yeah.

I have jaw problems now though. I think I have TMJ. It's been hurting and bothering me more lately.

I went to the dentist on Thursday for the beginning of root canal. The toothaches were so horrible.

Um... Most likely... 3 years ago when I still had my braces? Tightening braces are torture.

I had a root canal a few months ago. I'm only 16. D:

At first I thought it was a bit loose because it twinged when I bit on it, but over a few months it eventually became a head-throbbing pain that worsened every time I inclined my head. Neither me, my mom, or either of the two dentists I went to knew what caused it. They told me the root canal itself wouldn't hurt - they lied. For one, they stabbed the most painful part with the Novocain injection; my mouth also never went completely numb, so I was practically crying the entire time, and that's saying something because I cry about once a year. It hurt SO BAD. Thank God it's finally over with... and wisdom teeth are just around the corner.

Same thing for me, it's completley horisontal. XD I'm serious, i saw the x-rays myself. XD Anyway, you are not alone, once I had this horrendous toothache and I went to the dentist, and he perscribed so many Aspririn I still have like, two jars of it....And it was almost two years ago XD

I've not had one for a few years, but my mum's basically in constant pain from one. Our dentist doesn't really know what she's doing, so it'll eventually need to be pulled out. shivershiver

Aww, hope you feel better soon, Tattoo! I've had a few toothaches in my time. Not fun. Especially when it hurts to eat. I get so much pain from my wisdom teeth. It's horrible.

i haven't been to the dentist in ages, but still manage to have semi-clean teeth i should go, though the cavities are spreading :x

I had something similar, but it doesn't sound as bad as yours. D;

Yesterday at lunch, I decided to eat a spicy chicken sandwich. Some of the chicken got stuck in my filling, so I was carefully trying to get the chicken out without ripping my filling out. The filling moved a little bit, so I'm a little worried that it might fall out if I eat something hard. x_x

Well I'm not in any pain, but today Im going to the dentist for another root canal.. had one last weekend too if that makes you feel any better?

But eh, 2 root canals and a filling aint too bad for not going to the dentist in 10 years.. oops. Also need all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, but thats waiting until January.

Ha ha, I haven't been to the dentists in FOREVER.

Every time I went there was something they'd have to fill in or whatever.

I haven't had a toothache at all. At least one that didn't only last a couple minutes.

I haven't had a toothache since I was 8, but I know my brother can sympathize with you.

He had an infected tooth and whenever he touched it or wiggled it he would cry out in pain and blood would come spurting out. :(

they do have certain numbing things you can use on your teeth. I just don't remember what.

I got my braces tightened the other day, and I'm not sure why, but it seems to have made my tooth flare up, and now I can't handle eating or drinking anything that isn't room temperature without feeling like I'm being electrocuted. I'm kind of used to tooth-pain what with all this orthodontic work, but ... -cringe- IT HURTS! :( Dentist on Monday. Haven't been in a couple years.

3weeks ago my ''verstandskies'' (dutch word for wisdom teeth I guess...) has been removed, and I hurts like hell xD Couldn't eat for 2/3 days, lived on yogurt and applesauce xD

Please go see a dentist. Your tooth could be abscessed, and if you let it wait, the pain will only get worse (plus, it could screw up your jaw). :(
