I've literally never run into this problem you seem to be having with people's forumtext causing pages not to load, so I too, see no reason to refine it down further (especially since you already have a usable option available to you.) :

I used the disabling full-forums forever, and I would still use it however I enjoy seeing my leashed pet (I can't see him in the training center anymore cry) and checking out other people's leashed pets so it's safe to say I'd jump on this being an option very quickly if it happened.

It's not really "viable" to tell people to use adblock, either. Some people change their forumtext like they change their HAs (hourly) so even if you adblock gifs and all that jazz they could be back in an hour or so. At some point people could have revolving forumsets too, so there's several right there (if they can still do it of course). Not to mention there's thousands of users onsite...

Tbh I think a better idea might exclude leashes (which is something people pay for, that's like excluding billboards), text-only changes, and titles from the half-forums option instead of creating another option c:

I would love for this to happen at least on mobile. As in, I'd like an option to turn off images in signatures or even the half forum option but only for the mobile layout, that wouldn't affect the desktop navigation.

It would be nice to disable images or forumset "formats" as a whole without touching HAs and pet leashes too, for the reasons mentioned.

It's not that the forums aren't loading, it's that it slows them down considerably when there's 20+ extra images to download.

I never even thought of mobile users! Boy, I sure can lack foresight sometimes. XD I just never use my mobile browser for subeta because it's a pain to close tabs but this is a totally valid reason! I shall add it to the top post as well. :3

I'd argue that that would constitute not loading, but either way, I'm not seeing that problem, like, at all and honestly, it doesn't seem to be that much of an issue. :x

If anything, it would be good for photosensitive people who can't handle GIFs, but that's about it (and there's already an option for them to use so it would just be redundant to make another one.) :u

Honestly I'm not even sure what the point is of just wanting to see the text/font changes people made. Theres already a feature that takes care of this and I would MUCH rather have subeta do other things than add another site feature that is basically already there, but with a few minor tweaks.

I am in favor of 's suggestion of adding pet leashes to the disabled Forums though!

I'm in favor of this, too. Personally, I don't want to see the fonts, but I'd like to see the leashed pets and forum titles. I had to disable all of it, because loading a page took forever and would sometimes freeze. When I used to play on a PC, many moons ago, I used Adblock with success, although, as others pointed out, people change their blinky things frequently, so you have to be constantly blocking. Now, I play on an iPad and I haven't found an easy way to block.

I would love some more options with this! When I'm on my computer sure I use adblock and the really annoying sigs get thrown on there but if there were some options to limit the forums images for when I'm on my mobile I'd love that!

I can understand the desire to block all the images but keep the forumtext changes not only because it's nice to have the uniqueness but also because some people post links or other info in there sigs that we wouldn't be able to see when everything gets blocked.

Funny think that this is suggested by someone who have images on their signature! Tough I agree that the forums can be heavy to load from time to time and that the size should be lowered.
