Bribing is going to be around as long as they keep doing events like this, so, might as well get used to it. Not that it doesn't annoy me as well, but you can always find people willing to help non-bribers.

And if that doesn't work, just have a bombing war with friends...that's where most of my flowers went. One of my friends came back for the event and started flower bombing me, so I bombed them back. <3

I just give flowers and coins to my friends and people I know with a mix of random people as well. I never made one board in the Vesnali forums and got everything I wanted and the Vesnali Champion Achievement. This is supposed to be fun, you shouldn't expect to get anything, it takes the fun out of it.

And if you want coins that bad there are always user shops.

I always use the 'flower the above person' threads, and I have always got a flower in return. Never felt the need to start my own thread (as I know it would get buried in seconds), and I managed to get all the Vesnali achievements.

I dont care for flower to flower that much.. its sometimes like give bombing..some people skip. And I agree, it does go slow sometimes :

With the bribes, you still get tokens and a chance to get something really nice. I won a free profile out of it and might have won some other nice things :) Just have to wait for the creator to determine the winners

well I couldn't afford much but went to sticker shop, stocked up cheap and bribed with stickers... one person alone gave me 16 o_O was a nightmare as I said I'd give all diff stickers... made it tho LOL

I didnt have an issue and I dont bribe. It may have just been bad timing. Try it again, it cant hurt right?

QFT I haven't stepped foot in that forum and I achieved the champion achievement last night. Just give ANYONE your flowers, it's a lot quicker.

I don't use the bribing boards either - I pick the Flower for a flower boards, the flower above, or make my own. When I make my own, they often don't last very long, but I usually manage to get rid of all my flowers and sometimes have to search out more flowers before I get done. Most of the time, I end up hoping for my board to die :).

I gave some flowers to a couple bribers ^_^; 90 flowers for a MCT isn't too shabby. And I should be getting a nice profile sometime soon, from someone I've been wanting to commission for a profile. The rest, I posted on the flower above you boards. Two coins for every flower you get isn't bad at all, even if you do have to wait to find them. I ended up with enough coins to buy everything I wanted from Esther, including extra books to sell whenever the book drive occurs, and I'm still finding flowers and getting coins that I'll just sell. So my strategy worked for me ;) It might not be that great if you want two of everything from the shop or something, but most people won't be getting that much anyway.

i guess it's just odd hearing how hard it's been getting flowers when they've been showing up frequently, AND there's the flower above you threads. Whenever I ran out of flowers I just began surfing around Subeta on quests and the boards. I'd at least find 3-4 random flowers in a short time. It's about being a little patient. And I agree I think I only had 1 person skip me the entire time I did the flower to flower, and when i accidentally skipped someone they sent me a comment and I sent them a flower. It's mostly been effective and i got all the achievements which says a lot because this is a first time for me. Luminaire was the closest one until now. Hope you have better luck.

I made all the purchases I wanted to now and am returning flowers when I am sent them randomly - the coins and flowers are now in my shop - midnight is coming fast

that's what people with skills do, they use them to their advantage. it's not unfair, it's just... business.

I think as whole, it works whether you bribe or not, it's all about approach. I've been lucky enough that some of my friends have given me flowers to help out :) Others want it for the achievement. It's no more different than trades, right? It's just considered a bribe here because it's an event that's supposed to be free...which it is really. :) I mean people do the same thing for achievements and stuff.
