Who the fuck pissed in your cheerios? I have NEVER seen anyone be hostile towards missing a TS restock, in my 2 years here. Maybe I just miss the hostility, but if it is as rampant as you say...there should be a hell of a lot more boards about it. This is the b and c for christs sake, if you don't want to read whining or a little baw GTFO. And, you never, ever feel pissed that you missed a TS restock...I find that hard to believe.
Lurking like lurkers do...
wow you TOTALLY dont get it
people are upset when they miss a restock because they miss a restock. youre assuming that everyone who complains is arghating on subeta for not respecting their timezones.
people COMPLAIN simply because they are frustrated about missing it. i really fail to see why you felt it necessary to make a topic like this, oh wait, probably because you wanted to let out your frustration.
If people want the item so bad, they can buy it with sP... Subeta isn't like Neopets with non-transferable items ;/
Defeats the purpose of having a Token Shop. I think people would rather pay a 1k wizard token (which is approximately 2mil sP?) than the 28mil sP the Glade potion/Pitcher goes for.
[Edit]
Typos.
Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, not just people that think staff are the debil.
Freedom of speech goes both ways. When you post a complain, expect people to disagree with you. If you disagree with someone, expect to be disagreed with.
What the OP said was basically that we don't have a right to express our frustration when missing a TS restock, and that those who do are jerks. Is that fair? Also, did I say that the staff is the devil?
I never said the user was right in her complaint.
However...The user is fully entitled to express her opinion, no matter how "unfair" how think it is. And, how unfair I think it is. Likewise, I won't lock a staff-bashing topic, simply because it bashes staff and the way we work.
If you're offended, you can always go on and block the user.
There is no "I" in Subeta.
I agree that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but why express it in such an offensive manner? If she had stated her thoughts in a kind manner, maybe people would tone their complaints down. Instead it's like a slap to the face.
Writing about a user in an offensive manner is wrong, but writing about a group of people offensivly (even though they're not bringing up names) should be equally as wrong. There's a fine line between criticism and bashing. Isn't there an "us" in Subeta?
Thing is, you've gotta take it with a pinch of salt. Why d'you care what some random person thinks of us people who complain a bit when we miss a TS restock? The OP's just expressing their feelings, doesn't bother me, even though I do moan a bit (not on the forums like) when I miss one.
Well, I do believe in being civilized. I guess I got a little carried away here though, but then again, I'm sensitive and tend to get affected by what other people say. shrug
There is a difference between whining about why you missed a token shop restock and just expressing disappointment regarding your bad luck. Whiners usually make false statements to back the whining up... Saying things like you can't have a life if you want to play Subeta, you have to live in the same timezone as Subeta, that you have to be an American...stupid shit like that is just flat out offbase and the people that make those kind of comments should STFU. But simply being bummed you missed a RS, and expressing that? Nothing wrong with that at all.
What? All of that sounds like simple complaining! "It RS'd in a bad time in my timezone" is a WHOLE lot different than saying that "RAWRZ MY TIMEZONE IS THE ONLY ONE CATER TO MEEEEE" like you're saying everyone says. Calling an entire community ungrateful brats only makes you look immature when you don't even have a good example to go by!
While I agree with the point you are trying to make, I really don't agree with how you tried.
Honestly, the complaints about missing the TS restocks aren't unjustified at all. It's frustrating and since many of the items are sought after and a bit pricey, it makes sense.
Think of a real circumstance to compare it to and maybe you'll understand the response better: How frustrated would you feel if you'd been saving your cash to get tickets to your favorite band, but the tickets went on sale while you were held up with something and sold out before you could buy one? Sure, they might come around again, but it's probably gonna make you sulk a little.
I don't complain if I miss a RS Why because it does not bother me at all.
In fact there is Nothing in there that I want But I will buy for someone if they have already got something from there and cannot buy another item.
That made my day. :D
I spy with my little eye a brown noser!
Like it's been said, there's a huge difference between maturely handling the fact that you missed a restock and just obnoxiously baaawing over it.
Besides, from what I've seen the TS will usually restock twice, most of the time. Once at a ridiculous hour and again at another hour, as if it to give everyone a fair chance. If you miss it, throw it on your wishlist and either save up, hope someone gifts/trades it to you or hope it restocks again.
There's nothing you can really do aside those, so there's no use whining over missing it. So I agree with Kettu a bit.
Recently I've missed most restocks but that's my fault for not being around as much as I used to. Still it's very frustrating sometimes when I log in and find out they just restocked an item 10 minutes ago and they're all sold out. Also I realize they prefer to restock at more popular times,12 AM~2PM subeta time judging by the latest restocks, when more people are online but it'd be great if they'd changed the timing of the first restock more just so no timezone or continent is left out (and we all know the first restock is the easiest to catch if you're online when it happens).

geeze. people have a right to complain. dont deny peoples right to do so and then run off and complain yourself about others complaing.

have some pie 🥧
I wasn't speaking about the people who were occasionally upset, because that's all of us at a period of time. I was talking about the extreme cases, where people flip their lips if they don't get the latest TS item. I'm not telling everyone that they shouldn't be disappointed for missing a restock.
I just think it's crappy that people get bent out of shape no matter what goes on. So it restocks out of their timezone, they get pissy. Then it stocks in their timezone, but they were away, they get pissy.
It's the people who won't be satisfied with ANYTHING.
