Over the 2yrs and 10months I've been here I just train via the Training Centre and use any stat boosters I get from Shinwa and still not reached 1000 stats but will one day. I don't even know what I will do when my pet reaches 1000 stats as it's going to be more costly. Buying stat boosters would be nice but I'd need at least 100mill per fortnight :D

If your goal is to be in the top 20 pets then keep training but I'd go with training equally. Unless you want to stay in the top 20 strength or health then concentrate on those stats.:)

My thoughts, based on the current system, are to keep everything even until at least 1601. Then only train HPs and use my experience and boosters to get my defense and strength to 1901.
I don't see the benefit of working to get my defense and strength past 1901... if it happens, it happens but that will just be a bonus
