The UA did indeed tell me she needs the username. Look here's what she told me:

I have been able to find your offer, but the trade is no longer up. Unless you can give me the name of the user you were trading with so I can check what happened with the trade on their end, there is nothing that I can do to help you with this. :/

Unfortunately, I do not have access to information about who created a trade unless I have the person's username.

I tried searching the trades yesterday but didnt find anything, the UA said the trade is gone so that must be why. I also replied to the UA with a short list of names that I thought might be the trader from my wishlist search. The UA has yet to reply to me. Maybe I should make a new ticket? I dont want to be a pain but I want some more help.

Just hold out for a response... Sometimes it takes a couple days for them to get back to you as they don't live online. XD

I really wish you the best of luck though. That's a terrible situation. :/

That sucks. I've had it happen to me a few times but I was the one with the trades up. Sent the items over ASAP of course.

don't submit a second ticket for the same problem, it may take a while but they'll get back once they can get things muddled through

If a UA used to be able to track an username down without someone remembering the person, why does it change now? I do not think the policy changed at all. Please prove me wrong because this should not be happening at all. :|

Yeah Im going to wait, I understand it can take some time to get back to me.

I dont understand it much Confetti. Maybe the UA is new or maybe the rules changed somehow?? I dunno..

did the staff member tell you you have to remember the person's name that you were trading with?

they should be able to pull that info up from your logs I would think

I've had that happen to me with a ....luckily the girl gave me the watch since she already had my sP...the trades must be a bit glitched. That happened to me a while ago though.

Anyway...if you remember the User, why don't you try mailing him/her? They might give you the item if they have your sP. If not, then good luck with the ticket...the staff should be able to help. :)

Eek, I'm sorry to hear that. D8 That's happened to me several times, but I always send the item to the other user.

Hopefully, the other user will get into contact with you or a UA can fix this.

Oh yeah, I have been mailing the users who I think might be who I traded with. Have had a few replies so far saying they arent the one.

I know everyone says not to file a new ticket, but it seriously feels like playing the lottery when you file a ticket here. Depending on who answers it, you might well get no help at all. It's all dependent on which UA takes it on. It shouldn't be that way, but it is. I'm just thinking the new ticket would get the same UA anyway at this point, but it doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

I got a another reply from the UA today:

All right, I have checked and cannot find anything that helps me narrow down what happened. :/ Unless you can provide a clear username of who you traded with (not a list), there is nothing I can do to help you with this.

Sooo.... crud. :(

Yeah, if they can see your end of the trade and verify that you don't have the items it really shouldn't matter what the other users name is. That really sucks.

I know, that's what I was thinking. The UA made it sound like maybe its some kind of protocal? Who knows. It just sucks. I dunno what to do now. Its gonna bug me for a while.
