The local morning show brought up this topic a few weeks ago, and I wanted to see some of yours.

What are some of the funniest (real life) pet names you've ever heard?

My grandma has a Japanese Chin, who she got as a puppy when visiting her sister in Palm Springs. She's 76 years old, and named her dog Boy Toy.

You read that right. BOY TOY. My grandma, one of the most serious ladies I've ever met, named her dog Boy Toy. xD

I also used to have a guinea pig named Wiggles. gigglesnort I was 10, come on! She died a month after I got her, but I still have her sister Nibbles, she's sitting by her food bowl in her cage next to my desk. :D

If you can top those two, I've gotta hear it. :P

My year 7 teacher had a dog named "OiYou" So, when she called it, it was like "Oi! You! Come here!" XD

And my uncles dog is called Dopey

My cat's name is Calvin Marvin Merlin Mookie o:

I named him after (if you're familiar with Neopets) The kadoaties that you feed.. My (ex) boyfriend fed them.. And that's how we came up with that name :D In order. xD

I named our 'outdoor' cat, (AKA our stray kitty) Mrs. Fluffywufflekins. And I named the kitten Tuxedo and the two black kitties Stalker and Stalker Jr. because they followed us to the bus stop once. :l

I've also had a hamster named Mr. Rogers. ❤

i have a yorkshire/pomeranian mix named ayumi. (hey look a picture)

when we first got him my grandparents had no idea how to say his name so my grandma just called him Jose. LOL. he does not look like a jose in the least.

it isnt funny but its like....a really hot guy being named Engelbert Humperdinck

My (female) cat is Prince Cinnamon Boots (from the Replacements, I'm creative) and our (male) black lab is Princess Sugar Shoes 'cause there names HAD to match. Had to. And I have a husky named Peanut, because she resembles one. butnotrly.

Hah. I have a cat we call Ladle. And a dog named Wallace. I think those are pretty hilarious.

I have a fish named Sir. Simon-James-Alexander-Ragsdale III. The worst part? It's a female.

Fabio. The fish. We had a Franc but uh.. he died. I have no pictures of him, because he's always acting like a ballerina. Yeah, he's a cool black fish with bug-eyes. ^^

My sister's friend named her kitten Bonus Galore Chester Copperpot. It's just such a cute name, and it flows so well.

My turtle's name is Dude. He's amazing.

I also have a cat named Robertocat Lynnx Long -insert my last name-. But we call him Bob. :D

My cat's name is Ebay.

And I call my one dog Retard.

Because he likes to run head first into doors while trying to eat a laser pointer.

My grandma's neighbors got a Shi Tzu puppy a couple years back, and the husband wanted to name her Sue. Why?

So when he took her outside, he could say, "Shit, Sue!"

He was tons of fun! :D Too bad he died a while ago.
