completely incorrect. fad's last for short periods of time. skinny jeans have been popular for some time now.

they are popular between both sexes and, as an avid reader of several fashion magazines, i see this style of jean appearing regularly as fashionable.

i do agree with PUNS, in that they do not suit people with pear-shaped bodies, but they do suit plenty of other people!

In fact, now that I've actually read all of the original post, I'm shocked. Skinny jeans tend to be quite loose on my legs - if they don't fit you, don't take it out on everyone else. ;)

Fads are fads because there are that many a people who like it enough to make it popular. And the fact that some people like them, hate them, look good in them, and don't, will always be opinion!

I own one pair that was handed down to me.. and suffice it to say that I look horrible in them.

I have this thing called a "booty" that follows me everywhere I go, and does not fit nicely in a pair of skinny jeans. I accept that my booty and skinny jeans aren't a match made in heaven.

I just HATE my legs looking like toothpicks hanging out of an apple, honestly XD

I have a couple pairs. Really, you just have to make sure they fit. I think really skinny people look bad in them, and really heavy girls look bad in tight pairs. I don't think they look that bad. And really, not everyone wears them. I'm more of a skirt/dress girl, though, anyway.

I wear them; to school only. Our school is pretty strict on the dress code, any other pants you would have to be paranoid if you can wear them or not. =.= The skinny jeans I wear, well, they are actually comfortable. They aren't really skinny Jeans, they have some of the zipper shit in the back, but they aren't Tripp like most people think.

I prefer Straight-leg though. Not too skinny, but not too baggy. Cargo works well with me as well.

And I don't care if it's a fad, I like them.

I wear skinny jeans because they are WAYYYYYYYY better than baggy pants! They look better, they fit better and you don't wear skinny jeans down to your ankles. :P
