If someone sends you a gift you should probably say thank you :] It's polite.

It just makes gift giving depressing when there is no feedback. And I only give gifts because I know I don't use any of my sP for myself because I barely play and they'll make someone else happier than they'll make me. But if they're not appreciated, there's no reason to continue :/

So, even if it's a one second "Thanks!", that's showing you've taken the time to acknowledge their random act of kindness and maybe you'll just be inspiring more.

This happens to be one of the reasons I gift anonymously 99% of the time.

Oh also, I'm realistic. I understand messages can be cleared! But I have bombed people with gift upon gift.

I'm sorry to hear that /: That's the worst feeling ever; when you send lots of nice things to someone and they don't even bother to say thanks. It makes me really not want to give anymore sometimes.

Even if events are accidentally cleared I always try and click the back button madly until the event pops up again (which obviously won't work so well for this new event system).

But that's not the case. :/ Perhaps I should never have complained. It was just getting annoying, and in real life recently it was happening. So I just thought I'd say something.

If they did delete their events, they could always make a gift bragging board? At least that's what I would do. x)

It is frustrating to have people not even say thank you. I usually just gift anon now.

I don't think Thelxepiae is complaining that she doesn't receive admiration, it's just that saying thank you when someone does something kind for you is generally a polite thing to do /: People should have manners.

aww i always make sure to thank whoever just gave me a gift or gifts. but if i send gifts im not too worried about getting thank yous in return because i know i will never get them.. because i don't lol XD

I agree, it's basic manners to say thanks. Even if the gift is a small one I always send a quick comment. It's not too much to expect.

Aww, that's one thing that urks me. You go out of your way for someone, and they can't even acknowledge that you've done something for them. I mean it's not like you expect them to be praising you and such, but it is a nice gesture to say something nice back.

Anyways, I hope that person comes around and says something. c:

Aw I'm sorry! I dislike it when that happens too. :( Whenever someone sends me a gift, I thank them, and if its anonymous, I make a bragging board. :P

It is rude to blatently not say thank you, however I too have accidentally missed a gift bomber from clearing all events. There are days my page is just filled with them!
