I dunno, the ones at my local shopping centre and even my school are decent. The school ones are alright probably because the bottom two years get their own toilets and so do the top two years (which I am in). But damn, the teachers' toilets are pretty fancy...an examiner let me use them once before a 2.5 hour exam.

But one thing I have noticed - toilets by the seaside = TERROR. Also, I'm never going in another portaloo in my life.

Yeah... I try not to use public restrooms. They're nasty. T_T

Ugh. I always try not to use public loo's. They always stink. Why do people have such a problem flushing the loo?

Also, portaloos are one of the most disgusting things ever invented.

I try to avoid public restrooms at all costs, unless I absolutely cannot hold it. The restrooms at the local mall are especially foul. ._.

There are more germs on a doorknob than on a toilet seat. :o Kinda scary, eh?

I'm a woman and I really cannot understand how women manage to get piss all over the toilet seats and on the floor. I have seen this a lot, which is why I have a fear of public toilets. Also, you'd be surprised how many women don't wash their hands. I was in a hospital once and this woman used the toilet and she didn't wash her hands. IN A HOSPITAL. FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

I swear some women, just for the hell of it, right before they get up, just piss the last few drops they have on the seat while giving out a sadistic cackle then leave without flushing. :o

It's unbelievable how many people I see in bathrooms with other people in it leaving after doing their business without even acknowledging the sink in there. It's disgusting. I've seen a number of teachers do it too. Be careful about your papers kids. :(

Public restrooms are absolutely disgusting. Once I was in a store where every stall had toilets that would not flush and had old tampons, shit, and piss, and one even had a dirty diaper. not to mention, the floor was wet.

I just about puked while I ran away. I mean honestly, how hard is it to clean up after yourself or find a working restroom? o_o

I try to never use public restrooms. ew.

When im camping i just suck it up and use the bathroom there, i cant stand to go in the woods.

Public restrooms are disgusting! I dont understand how women manage to piss all over the seat. I mean really! If you piss on the seat, clean it up! Its just so gross leaving it for someone else to find, especially if they don`t notice it and sit in it....

I remember this one time, my friend and I were downtown on a class trip all day, and we went into this nice cafe, very clean, very nice people. And my friend had to use the rest room, so the lady told us where they were and sent us on our way. We went down the stairs and found ourselves in a narrow, unfinished hallway with light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. We found a small door with the words "Women's washroom" on it and we walked in...it was a nightmare @.@ It had wet dirt floors, the sink was ripped off the wall, and the door to the stall was coming off. There also wasnt any toilet paper. It was the most terrible washroom I have ever been in. I understand if they where doing renovations or something, but then they shouldnt let there customers use them! It just ruined the whole charm and beauty of the cafe.

i hate public toilets so much. i've used them probably 3 times in my whole and today i was reminded WHY i dont use them.

i downed a whole can of Arizone tea because i had something really spicy to eat. I HAD TO PISS LIKE A RACEHORSE so i get excused from class only to have

2/3 stalls with SHIT AND PISS in them. neither flushed.

it's so disgusting. whatever the reason, public toilets are nasty. i'd rather squat over a pile of leaves than SIT on any public toilet seat.

In some public restrooms there are footprints on the seat. It is disgusting. Oh not to mention no tissues! So you always have to bring your own.

But most of the time the ones where I go to are clean and orderly. :D

I avoid public restrooms as much as possible. Especially in my school. GAWD. The one time I desperately went remotely close enough to reach the girls' bathroom, there was a frigging turd on the floor. A nasty turd, in a puddle of spilled water, with toilet paper all over the place.

Screw that. I can hold my pee for six hours. c:

If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat, be considerate to others. ;D

I know, this is truly disgusting and i hate it. Usually if im someplace weird i will go to a better place to go. Like, say it happened in wal-mart, i usually try to find some place comfortable and clean like Barnes and Nobile or Starbucks.

People don't understand they can just set toilet paper on the seat and then sit down to go to the bathroom. It takes an extra minute at the most, it's not like you need to take 5 minutes and be late for something.

That's why I try to avoid public restrooms. I also don't really want to sit on the same thing that lots of people before me have sat on.

This made me remember a sign that I saw when I was younger. The primary grades at our school put up signs on the backs of stalls that read: If you sprinkle, When you tinkle, Please be neat, And wipe the seat.

I thought it was cute, but it makes a good point.
