Switching is little effort, and it is better for you. Everyone says so, so why not (do your own research) and discover the truth?
If FF hates you, try Chrome or Opera. But tons more reliable and safer.
Mehhh, I downloaded FF pretty soon after I joined Subeta because of the errors in IE, and I have been using FF ever since. It's not that much trouble. It's free to download and easy to install.
Wolgon, I completely get where your coming from . I am unable to download firefox on my computer, because it is my grandmother's and I am not aloud to download programs on her computer. I get that firefox is the best alternative, but for some people it isn't an option. I just wish that the trades would work properly like they use to on internet explorer.

There are pros and cons in using other browsers. By far I do code using FFox since it is more stable in terms of coding than IE. Opera on the other hand sometimes can be a pain due to a different way of coding things, but IE totally is a mess with coding.
Though I find FFox sometimes also a pain due to the chuckiness of the mem space it uses (when you have tons of tabs...).
Other than that I'm ok using FFox and SeaMonkey (also powered by mozilla), and Opera for Subeta
My dad's computer got a virus, a pretty bad one, and when / after he had it fixed the guy told him not to use IE and that it was much safer to use FF or Opera.
I personally like FF better, every time I have to use IE it looks ugly and fuzzy not to mention it goes super slow compared to FF. Since he's stopped using IE he hasn't been getting as many virus warnings and his computer as a whole doesn't run as slow as it used to.
I didn't think I'd like FF at first either but after my first day or two of using it I couldn't go back. Started using it for everything, not just Subeta.
It shouldn't kill your computer to download an extra browser.
