Well some people may think 'its just a cat' but i dont think that way.I think of all animals equal to humans so if animals are 'just animals' then we are 'just humans'. ^ just wanted to say. Well i havent loss any pets yet but when my grandmas cat(i think of her as mine XD)Pumpkin dies, ill be very crushed.Shes the best cat eva.Shes kinda fat, white from chin, underbelly, back of legs, and under her tail while the rest is orange with darker orange stripes.Incase you wanted to know how she looks.^^
Been there before, more than once I'm afraid. :(
So far, we've had two of our dogs put down. As far as people I've experienced pass away, it's been far too many and far too young (one I knew was 11, who died from cancer about 4 years ago, and a senior at my high school who got into a fatal car accident last year). Both were open casket. :'(
-hug-
My dog got put down about 2 weeks ago. He had been fighting cancer for about a year, and once I left for camping he let it get the best of him. I found out right when I got home, wasn't the best homecoming.
I really hope you feel better! It's so hard losing pets. :(
Aww :( I'm so sorry. Its so hard to lose a pet. I've lost so many and it never gets any easier :(
-hugs-
im so sorry umm yeah there are wild dogs around here and they ate my cat tucker and my pug
Ping me ;)
Thanks for your love, everyone.
You guys made me feel better than my IRL friends. :(
aww, I'm so sorry :(
I remember getting my last cat put to sleep. It's a hard decision, but it's for the best. Just remember all the fun times you had together and when he would cheer you up. Seriously, animals are nicer than people most of the time
Awh, I'm sorry about your cat. I've never had a pet of mine die, but we had to move in February while I was still at university, and the new house doesn't allow pets. So our dog Breezy, who we've had for seven years, was temporarily given to my ex-sister-in-law. I've only seen her once or twice since January, simply because it's too difficult for me to know that I can't take her home with me, and how confused she is that she doesn't get to go with us.
I'm sorry :( My dog died a few years ago, She's been there ever since I was born, she raised me like a parent, let me ride on her back when I was a baby... I'm so sorry for your cat
Cleared by staff, oversized
I'm sorry to hear that :(
Losing someone is never easy, be it a pet or a family member.
We had a dog, a mix between a golden retriever and a golden lab. She was the most beautiful dog I've ever seen. My parents have videos of me and her around Christmas. She would eat my cookies and then walk away like it wasn't her >( LOL
She died a long time ago. I can barely remember her :(
That sucks. (not even gonna make that sound nice. ;)) I lost my pet chicken last summer....? Does that count? She was my buddy. </3
I'm so sorry. I lost my dear cat, Milo, last year. He was the sweetest thing in the world. Always really nice and social. He even liked to swim.
Aside from pets, I also lost my father. Twenty-six months ago (two years and two months). Things have never been the same without him.
SlR BBY.
Previously known as DESZCZ
Oh, Deszcz, I'm so sorry about your losses. I can't imagine losing a parent, even if we're not that close. I'm fortunate I haven't really lost any very-close relatives. (One grandmother's passed, but I was young.)
Thanks again, guys. So many pets! :(
i'm so sorry to hear that. i know it's hard. a pet becomes part of the family and they tug at your heart more than you'd think they would.
i've been in that situation many times. i remember back in 4th grade i got my first pet (meaning she was mine to take care of, which was a big step in responsibility to me), a hamster named cheddar. i loved her to death and so did my mom. she was so nice and cuddly. she never bit me and she'd snuggle with me and sit in my pocket. i remember i saw her acting strange one day and yelled at my mom to come downstairs and we held her until she died. i cried for a week. she was my baby.
and then our family dog, chrissy (a schnauzer), died with all of us around her. she was such a sweetie. we had her for 14 years and she died on the same date that we got her. i remember me, my brother & sister and my parents all gathered around her in the laundry room where she was wrapped up in blankets crying and remembering the times we had with her. when she died we had a funeral for her in our backyard and buried her. :(
not to mention i've lost some parakeets and a hedgehog. i get so attached to my pets so i definitely know how you feel. they become my best friends.
i hope you feel better. losing a pet is one of the hardest things.
