Only when people who know a one or two popular songs from the artist act like they're the artists biographer; Kinda like when Across the Universe came out. There were girls running around where I live acting like they knew everything about the Beatles because of this ONE movie that were all just covers. I grew up around my grandma and she loved the Beatles and the Monkees and what have you. It bugged me that these girls thought they were Beatles experts overnight.
I didn't really even care for the movie, but I hate cover songs and bands anyways besides a few exceptions ( Twist and Shout c: ).
