...I only add that if I add something important... I don't know why you need to advertise to the world that you can't spell.
I always edit for typos because it drives me nuts when I know I can spell xD
And yes, I always add a comment to my edit, because I like to. No other reason.
Feathers - Same here Or when I write something and realise that another posted after and now my post doesn't make much sense XD
Feathers - Me too, to be sure I have a place ^^ Ohh and your HA is amazing
I explain why I edited sometimes but I really dont see a point to it :)

I think it boils down to drama. The he said she said nonsense of things. If you put a reason, like, I edited for spelling, which I usually do, than I don't look like a bitch who said something wrong, saw someones response and then edited out to make them look like an idiot.
On forums off subeta there is a box when you edit that lets you write why you edited your post - it's probably normal for the people who do, like myself, to include that in their post.
I remember seeing on one of the sticky threads not too long ago that if you edit your post, you should post why you edited out of courtesy to the other users. I can't find where I saw that though. Haha. It was probably one of those realistic Subeta dreams I had. xD But yeah, that is my reason. ;)
cleared by staff, oversized
I'll edit a post if I made a stupid grammar mistake but I won't make it obvious.
This
I sometimes do it because otherwise people might look at it and be like, "why the heck did she keep going back to edit it..?" and for word choice/clarity.. or, as previously stated, because i'm laughing at myself because i can't spell. xD
I dont know.. it always seems to serve a purpose if i do it, though i don't always.

I usually edit if I misspelled a word horribly or if I forgot a word or group of words that make the sentence make sense.
I sometimes specify that I've edited my post because of dyslexic issues, but usually only when the mistaken word I wound up writing gives my original post a different meaning than what I intended it to have, or when it looks like I'm illiterate. Sometimes when I'm tired or stressed the things I post make no sense at all, and I don't catch on until the third or fourth time I read them over, so I feel compelled to explain why my contribution to the topic was a complete cluster-fuck :P
It's a combination of an apology, an explanation and a note to those who may have read my initial, unedited post to look again if they feel confused or think I'm a cat typing on my owner's keyboard.
For the most part, I edit 'cause of typos, grammatic stuff, or rewording something in a easier-to understand way o_o
& i never use the edit bar. Ever. Sometimes i say Edit: though.
I am sometimes guilty of this. But only sometimes. -hides from pitchforks-
I'll reread my post and such and edit becuase of typo/i dislike how i worded something or whatever. Or if someone beat me to the punch and i feel the need to add something in then i will.
But i don't explain the reason i edit, it just doesn't click in my brain to do it :/ and so they go unexplained~
Katerina:: You should be more weary of flying objects than pitchforks, They come out of knowhere, you'll see the pitch fork coming..... unless its from behind :P
cringe Sometimes I do, but I just say "typo" or "doh I cant spell"
yeah..i use edits to clarify things that appear way out of whack because your clicking was poorly timed with others postings and posts did not make sense.
then there are PLENTY that do not make sense to others that I just leave because it is just how i had put them.
EDIT POST>>>JUST COULDN'T HELP IT :) :) :)
