i'd keep it, of course finders - keepers
like said, it's their fault for not being more careful
oh man, the food i'd buy :D
lol well some of you are right, it was just 500 dollars in an elastic band that was drug related... and the poor sucker needs to learn some new lessons with drug-selling or just not drug sell at all. Which of course would be better!
I of course chose to spend the money since if I were to turn it into the cops they wouldn't be able to find out who's it was and probably just send it to the government or something stupid like that. >:( Damn government.

I'd probably be tempted to spend it, but in the end I'd turn it in. :P I'm a goody-goody.
Well... If the guy who lost it was selling/buying drugs, I'd keep it. I may buy a few things, but I'd probably save most of it.
But if some random busy, hard working guy lost it, I'd turn it in I guess.
shit. i think for me it would be one of those things i would decide in the moment. like i'd like to say i'd turn it in, but who am i kidding, i'd probably spend it on one expensive luxury item/put it towards my mac fund, or just cross off two months of rent with it.
it would depend where i found it. if it was a park, i'd keep it. if it was a school, i'd turn it in like i've done so in the past with ipods and wallets.
I'd like to say I'd turn it in, but if it was in the middle of a park in the city, I probably wouldn't. Mostly because I'm afraid of police. And it could be ANYONE who lost it. I'd probably spend it in that case. On clothes, food, normal stuff...or I'd use it to buy a new spot light for our HS theatre, because it NEEDS it bad, but can't really afford it right now.
If I found it on school campus or something, I'd turn it in. A chick once lost $50 on school campus, and my friend had an internal battle about whether to keep it or not. In the end, I convinced her to turn it in, and she felt really good about herself, and the office ladies have loved her and I since then.

...I'd put half of it in the bank and hit up EB games with the rest... Sorry, if you lose your money it's you're fault. What kind of nutjob actually walks around with $500 in his pocket? That's like asking to be robbed.
buy 500 soft tacos from taco bell.
I'd probably turn it in.
Not meaning to sound like a snobby rich kid, but I don't need it. My mom spoils me without even asking me if I want something. @
The only thing my mom doesn't like to buy me is CSC. xD
Depends xD I'd be so tempted to spend it on this site and Valenth. oO
shopping. i'm in srs need of moar clothes, mang
lol@bloke. me too though. ;_;
I'd go save it if not turn it in. I'd save it up to buy a mac or something big like that. Whoot. $500! That's alot. What a find.
@.@ "You've got a hand? A hand in a jar? A hand, in a jar, in your bag!" @.@
I honestly have no idea. I'd probably use it to save up for something...or I might buy a lot of small things with it or one big thing with it.

Exactly. I'm surprised more people haven't said this. There is no shame in keeping something that has little to zero chance of finding its way back to its owner. In my opinion.
But if I found a pile of money on the ground that was 500 bucks, first I'd be totally ecstatic, then I'd probably either put it in savings or...something. Idk. I probably wouldn't squander it on something stupid. That could be dinner for the next month, yakno?
fukkinnn typos
If I saw someone drop it I would probably give it back to them, but if it was just lying there with nobody else around, I'd keep it.... serves them right for carrying around that amount of cash and being so careless with it. I would buy lots of shoes. Oh yes. :D
