i don't think i've ever used/heard of it. what is it? i guess i could google it

I looked it up, and it said it was an self-drying synthetic clay. It takes about 2-3 hours to harden and is waterproof in 24 hours. It doesn't shrink at all, like if you froze it or something, and it can stick to basically any surface.
It's used sometimes for museums and professional art studios and stuff.
(used this site for info, somebody else might be able to find a better one o.o)
I've never used it before, but I've been thinking of buying some just to see how it works (if it's not extremely expensive..and if I can get somebody to drive me there x3).
Ooh. I've actually seen some of these before - someone linked to a Dr. Horrible version on a fansite and I was amazed by them. I had never thought of customising a MLP before seeing that. Been thinking about trying it out sometime now :D
Here's the person who did the Dr. Horrible set, if anyone's interested. She's also done some gorgeous aquatic ponies.
Woosie defiantly uses the Apoxie clay, and with the look of the others, I would assume they do too. Sculpey would be too hard to use with its shrinking rate. Its small, but noticeable.
..soyeah xD Still gotta paint the stripes on the body again..and the legs and stuff. And I still have to glue the head on -lazy- But yeah..rehairing took forever ;-;
This looks fun, maybe I should take this up.
I personally believe this is the most epic pony edit ever!
your zebra pony turned out great!!! er... zebra unicorn? :P it's too darling. plans for other pony friends?
i am also interested in trying out the apoxie. i wonder if hobby lobby carries it. i'll have a lookie at it and see! yay!

Thanks x3 ..Target only had white MLPs that were unicorns xD
I'm probably going to make some more and possibly sell them...but I might wait until summer and see if I can get a job so I don't spend all my money on MLPs :x
My boyfriend drove m to target today..so I bought another MLP xD
So far I took out the hair and took off the symbol (goof off=LOVE, it's amazing at taking off the stuff like symbols). I'm planning on painting the pony black and then getting some apoxie clay and making a tail/fin..it's gonna be an orca x3
hmf, sounds kinda interesting, Maybe I should try it. Lol.
Cleared - Oversized
I was looking at the hasbro page today, and saw this nice little treat. Its pure white, no markings what so ever.
Tons of people on deviantArt do custom ponies. If you do a search there, you'll find plenty of ideas, and tutorials, too! Here's the link to a search, it brings up tutorials... =resources/tutorials&order=9&q=my+little+pony">http://www.deviantart.com/=resources/tutorials&order=9&q=my+little+pony
I like reading the threads on MLParena, but my problem is I don't know pony names at all. My big sister was the big MLP collector (I did beanie babies) and she wouldn't even let me touch her MLPs. So they reference this pony and that pony, and I find my self googling names all the time, just so I can get an idea of the original pony. lol
I loled at the one you found KittyBell. That was sweet! I found one too. Aliens anyone?
This looks like fun! I love fooling around with 3D materials and such.
I did a search and found this one...it is absolutely GORGEOUS. I'd love to be able to do something like that!
