Are you a purist when it comes to camping? As in you go out to the wilderness with a tent and sleeping bags and leave behind most of your day to day amenities?

Or do you prefer using a camper so you have electricity, a toilet, beds, and what have you.

I just got back from camping (hence the 4 day absence) with my aunt and she owns a lot over at the local camp ground so they own a camper and keep it parked out at the camp ground year round. I do prefer the camper over the tent purely because of the morning air. It's so damn cold in the morning, I can't handle it, sleeping bag or not.

I love camping oh man. I've never once camped in a camper or cabin (except once, for girl scout camp, which was the worst experience of my life). My family used to just go camping every weekend or so, it was really fun. When I go camping I don't care about showering or anything, so I do not give a crap about electricity/running water/toilets/whatever. I used to be a lot more nature-oriented than I am now, which probably has something to do with the fact that I haven't been camping in over five years, but I'd really love to go again.

I looove tent camping. If you go out there with electricity and proper beds then it isn't really camping.

My favorite thing about camping is those huge camp fires. Last time I went I woke up to some stranger that jumped on top of my tent.

I need a camper. I can't stand bugs inside of a tent, it just creeps me out so bad. :c

I always get in trouble when I go camping. ;P Like getting caught skinny dipping, being so obnoxious that the people in the next campsite request a new one, starting fires. The list goes on.

It's really great though. The summer's not complete without a few camping trips.

i hate camping. :( i've never been camping in my entire life. I was invited to go camping next tuesday for the first time in my life and I'm being forced to go. We drive there in a camper but they bring tents and stuff and rough it. Hellllll no. I'm way too much of a priss. I'm staying in the camper.

campers are just as much as camping imo. i'll swim and fish and start fires and heat up a can of pork and beans but there is no way in hell i will fall asleep among nature.

We always take inflatable mattresses though, I'll pee in the middle of a field with everyone looking but I will not sacrifice my comfort, haha. The mattress will have a sheet put over it, I'll always take pillows and a duvet. Screw sleeping bags. My duvet is better, ha.

Camper? Pfft what's that? I take the tent, the kettle, a sleeping bag, and let's go! I am such an outdoorsy person; my whole family is. We always go camping every spring and summer even if there's snow in April xD

I hate camping in all forms LOL. If you are staying in a camper or a cabin, than it isn't really camping, but still. I don't go out into the woods. It's dirty and there are a lot of bugs everywhere. And I don't want to risk the chance of being attacked by a mountain lion or bear. People wonder why the mountain lions attack people. Well let's see, the people are walking around the mountain lion's home and there are some people that trash the lion's home. I wonder why people get attacked.... Sorry, that was a side track. I would rather go to the beach and stay in a nice hotel where there are people there to clean up after you instead of staying in the woods

I go to summer camps. the kind that half connects you to nature, and then you can use a real toilet. it's awesome.

I've never actually been camping, only summer camps/girl scout camps. But I'd probably prefer a camper over a tent. I hate bugs. :c

Ahaha, I've only camped once, and it was in the WORST place ever.

We had to sleep in a bunch of ferns with gnats and mosquitos.

And our dinner was cold lunchables pizza. So I guess I'd prefer camper.

I like campers enough, but they are so cramped usually. If I'm sleeping outside, I just want my sleeping bag and a pillow. So I'd say that I want neither (The ground will suffice for me!).

It depends. Sometimes I like camping in a tent 9which is what i normally do) but if im at a 3 day horse show i like all the amentities

I am like in the middle. I prefer tents as I believe they're part of the camping experience. But I've never truly been camping in the wilderness, forest and all. I've always been to camping grounds, where they have toilets and stuff.
