Ugh I know that is so disgusting. I only eat eggs that come from our pet chickens. We've had blood-filled eggs just twice I think? It happened when the chicken was a little sick, but she recovered quickly and then her eggs were fine. I know it does kind of ruin your appetite though!

Yeah, I have seen a few videos and read books on factory farming. It's so sad. I will sometimes eat our eggs at home, because I know our chickens are loved and taken care of, and for the most part they're very healthy and happy!

Awh I don't know if I could handle finding a dead chick. ;n; I watched that "Get Out Alive" reality show, and in one episode they cracked open their eggs to discover the dead chicks inside. I would have freaked out.

We have no male chickens, just hens! The eggs are unfertilized so there's no worry about finding a chick. You are, um, basically eating the chicken's period, as gross as that sounds.

finding a black glob in my egg a few years ago is the reason i now have a hard time eating eggs. I cant cook them myself anymore.
