I know. THose people had never seen that before. I feel bad for them. It is terrible. At first I thought it was just going to climb up the walls, and at least they could have gotten in and out the other side of their homes, but then it busted in the door and started consuming the inside of the house, AND was getting higher and higher. It doesn't seem so cool now.

HAHAHAHAHA ha. I drive both. But yeah, as I was saying to , the backends of Rangers are light, which might have been somewhat responsible for the accident.

Lair Bears Dance Mix! (play it on shuffle)
Guess they'll be putting up some kind of fence along the beach line......it's a good idea.
~ wow that was weird, I have never seen anything like that before
From what says, there is nothing that can stop them. It is ice, and its packed tight. It gets higher and higher when faced with an obstacle until it is heavy enough to overtake it. I don't know why people would build homes there knowing this phenomenon.
I never saw anything like that either, and I am glad I live int he south now. I was actually planning on moving to North Dakota early last year, but I am glad I stayed put.

- when the ice sheets start washing ashore off Mille Lacs, nothing is going to stop them. Ive only seen it once, it was like there was a wall of ice crossing hwy 210 and just kept coming. It's not an annual thing but it can happen. The news said it was glacier like. It looked like sheets of ice sliding further and further inland to me. This was years ago, I didnt know it happened again last year until I saw the video Kristi posted. Mille Lacs is huge but still!
- so much for yall coming for pizza. We are the home of 10,000 lakes and even more idiot hunters..
edits I was wondering if you were still thinking about pulling stakes and heading my direction. This winter isn't a good time. According to Bug all flights to Minnesota and North Dakota have been canceled until it reaches at least 70 degrees. I called her the other night to let her know the winds were gusting to close to -70 below and she said "Wrong direction mom! 70 ABOVE!" And to think she was born and raised here in the frozen northland! Florida has spoiled her I think.
Our Lair is proof you don't have to stand face to face to know you've got friends who stand with you when you need us.

: Awe...I wasn't going to fly to your house for pizza, I was going to mail myself. It would take me 23 years to get to your house by my little mini-ultra-light flier. I guess a cute little weasel-girl in an ultralight would present an irresistible moving target for a dude with a gun and a bottle of liquid courage.
LOL. Well, I live in Louisiana and it is still COLD here.. Or it had been the past week. Its warming up tomorrow, thank goodness. Friday will be SHORTS weather. We don't have winters here, usually, and my closet is not stocked for these rare occasions. I wore LAYERS of clothing and froze my butt off.

Good night.... That was sure strange.I never saw that before.

Wow, that is absolutely unreal . Good thing she survived.
: I wonder how it's going to get melted anytime soon?
I saw that on the news also and i couldn't believe she lived.
That is just insane. I feel so sorry for those people in the other house.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have no idea how people can live up north. These days the Texas Panhandle seems a little too far north for me.
