If it was possible to fold a piece of paper 51 times in the middle, its height would cover the distance between the earth and the sun.

Phineas Gage is a medical phenomenon for surviving a massive brain and skull blasting with a tapping rod. What made it amazing is it occured in 1848.

A facet of this is it laid some foundation towards the cerebral nature of human behavior. Since Gage changed greatly in his manner, from a good person to much less agreeable.

The first car to use a practical disc brake system was a C-type Jaguar during endurance racing at Le Man's in 1953.

Their effectiveness led to auto manufacturers to develop disc systems for passenger cars during the 1960s and 70s.

Hmm, mine forgot about that.

I intentionally misspell and mispronounce the word "brain" as "brian". Damned if I know where that came from.

For some odd reason, the one measurement in cooking that has stayed with me the past few years is: 1 garlic clove = 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

My oldest Neopet is a Talking Purple Shoyru Plushie, Ahmos Makita Tangent, who is currently 18 years old. His petpet Kiev the Babaa, is the same age. Both still function.

Also mine passed this semester with a 92 as my final grade, the only other "A" of the class.

I have a little tradition here on Subeta for Lumi. Every time I post a claim in one of those "gift the tree above you" threads, I post X-mas song lyrics, ranging from the secular to the sacred to the outright parodies. I like to think it spreads holiday cheer more effectively.

Bonus fact: I also dress up my HA as an angel for every Lumi (as you can see).

In terms of raw materials, the human body is worth a few dollars at most. Though black market organs are a multi million dollar trade.

Mine almost 40 and I'll never stop sleeping with a plush.

Anyone care to explain that away?

In Zoroastrian culture the dead are neither burned nor buried, it is believed a dead body defiles everything it touches. They instead lay corpses in a way that vultures can consume the mass. Also eveything used to handle the body and articles of clothes must be destroyed.

I for one would like to be disposed of that way.
