The tadpoles of the paradoxical frog Pseudis paradoxa are five times as big as the adult frog.
If it was possible to fold a piece of paper 51 times in the middle, its height would cover the distance between the earth and the sun.
Phineas Gage is a medical phenomenon for surviving a massive brain and skull blasting with a tapping rod. What made it amazing is it occured in 1848.
A facet of this is it laid some foundation towards the cerebral nature of human behavior. Since Gage changed greatly in his manner, from a good person to much less agreeable.

The first car to use a practical disc brake system was a C-type Jaguar during endurance racing at Le Man's in 1953.

Had to check the first post to read the prompt - random fact about myself. Um! I started playing neopets 20 years ago and only recently discovered subeta.
Hmm, mine forgot about that.
I intentionally misspell and mispronounce the word "brain" as "brian". Damned if I know where that came from.

Bonus fact: I also dress up my HA as an angel for every Lumi (as you can see).

Mine almost 40 and I'll never stop sleeping with a plush.
Mine immediate family is heavy with southpaws; mine is, and mine older sister, and our youngest brother. Our middle brother and both parents are dexter.
Anyone care to explain that away?
In Zoroastrian culture the dead are neither burned nor buried, it is believed a dead body defiles everything it touches. They instead lay corpses in a way that vultures can consume the mass. Also eveything used to handle the body and articles of clothes must be destroyed.
I for one would like to be disposed of that way.
