After about four days of bad MMs I really get the bad mood other users were in at the start of December. I was pretty lucky then and had a good MM every other day or so... but this week is bad luck for me. :( Hopefully tomorrow it's better.

My MM yesterday was at least alive, but disappeared after only one round. Why don't you want me to send more things?

And... that's it for MM for me this year. I'm busy today and I'm going back to my parent's house tomorrow, where I won't be able to be online much, if at all (though, hopefully, I'll be able to get a couple of minutes every day for the melody gifts). Thank you to the four or five really good MMs (20%-25% success rate... not brilliant), and I hope you enjoyed the cheapy gifts you essentially cheated out of me to all you lame ones.

No worries. ;) The selfishness of those guys is shameless, really. They only participate hoping to get a nice MM partner who'll send them some good items, and they do this over and over and over again. I'm not participating anymore until Subeta finds a solution to this problem. I'm tired of being disappointed and them succeeding repeatedly.

Although I got to know some awesome people through this thread this year. :) Thanks a lot to Anon and all of you other pretty people. ❤️

You know, I really dislike people who complain that their not getting items worth millions. Some of us are poor, who cares if the item is only worth 20k,the items my MM sent me today were mostly items I think they just dug from the vault, and a lot were super cheap but they were cute or funny, I put them all into my vault until after XMAS.

Thank you MM for the cute items. I wish there was a way to know if my MM liked the items I sent.I don't get the messages sent via items, a few are obvious, but some are hard to decipher.

Siiigh. Other than two days, I've not had a single good MM. Most of them are completely inactive and unresponsive, but one has been a jerk. This one falls into the 'inactive' category. Hopefully they're just busy atm and will be back in a jiffy. n-n I'm really looking forward to the possibility of sending awesome things.

Here is a thread to help with that. They miiight be using that to send messages. If not, I'm all out of ideas. XD

Gee, MM, I'm overwhelmed by your enthusiasm(!). Two junk items that you don't even need any effort to get.

I'm not looking for bank-breaking involvement, just some sort of cute or funny little theme, or at least an effort. The next MM I have who makes a decent effort is going to be totally giftbombed!

I clicked on my first MM this year and they are fantastic! I have to admit though I am having a really hard time keeping up. I hope I'm not disappointing them. They have wonderful themes going, and all I can do is try to match themes and value in return, but my quantities are definitely smaller. I'm sorry! But I'm having a blast right now. I should have come better prepared!

I decided to give MM another try this year, and I wish I hadn't bothered. I spent an hour (before signing up) carefully picking out a theme and setting it up in a certain way to send them. I was so excited for midnight. As soon as I had a partner I threw all the cute items at them. I received a few vended items and even a couple of game items in return. Just stuff they had laying around. I thought "oh well at least they responded" so I picked out another theme and sent a bunch of cute items. Few more random items in return. I finally decided the thrill was gone. I picked out one more theme, sent the cute items, and called it a night. I just came on a little while ago to see that I have not heard anything from them. I am just going to go back to randomly gifting on the boards. I find more enjoyment in that!

A couple of days ago my Mysterious Melody sent me an do not reveal MM gifts So they probably thought I was too dumb to get the hint. XD

Although I did get againafter a few gifts, so I guess they liked what I sent anyway. They were a good one, too. We kept one-upping each other and ended up sending things worth millions back and forth.

I got one MM where I accidentally sent an item worth five million (usually I start at about 100k and work up), and was like "Damn nooo! Oh well." And they sent NOTHING. Literally nothing! Asshats. XP

Just going to whine that I've done MM almost every day and I always give tons of gifts and have only had one person give me more than a single junk item (if they give anything at all, which is super unlikely). Horrible this year.

Yesterdays MM was rather alright, only one round of gifting but I'm glad they at least responded. I was second to join today...Sent a few inexpensive items to try and grab their interest and start moving to more expensive items but....no response...all day...I can only hope that they merely forgot they signed up and logged off. :/

Yesterday's MM was a total dud.

Edit: Signed up, got a dud.their not responding, I sent three items.but I'm not sending anymore until they respond.Had a cute theme picked too.

Edit: I got 3 items, so I then sent a more nicer item and they stopped responding.I have a feeling this person is just digging through their unwanted items and tossing them to me.I don't mind cheap items, but I really don't want to be someone's dumpster either.At least make them useful or funny or something.Usefulness makes up for the price not being high.
