Another nicely active MM today :) I couldn't manage to see a theme/communication and we stuck mostly in the lower level stuff, but it didn't feel like someone just emptying their invent of junk, so that was good! I tried to throw a few mid-level things at them too, since they were active and trying. They disappeared after around 45-50 items, which is pretty good going ;)

Aw! Everyone seems to have such great MMs today.

Except me; the last two days have been complete duds. I suspect a lot of the decent MMs have given up, leaving behind a greater number of leeches and no-shows. As sucky as this is for me, this at least means there's a greater chance of the terrible MMs getting paired with each other and getting nothing at all.

I'm not going to press my luck today. I have a good back and forth with mine yesterday. I spoiled mine.

Another one that disappeared. :( After my initial opening gift, they sent something decent back (not expensive, but at least useful), so I got really excited to have a participating one, that I started with a truckload of good items, and now nothing.

We're over halfway to luminaire, and still not a single really good MM. This is depressing!

Well. My MM seems to have disappeared after sending two items. One decent (which got my hopes up for an active partner who isn't just dumping junk) and then a junk item. Now I remember why I usually don't bother with MM. I initiated it with a nice item, to get them interested but it appears I got a mooch. Not bothering to send anything else for now. I sent them a few pretty nice items so I don't feel bad at all. I understand not everyone has the funds to send back gifts of equal value, but anything is better than nothing.

Lately, my MMs seem to be raiding the Donations. If I wanted stuff from Donations, I'm perfectly capable of grabbing it myself.

Just sayin'.

well i have had three great MM back on the second, seventh, and twelfth thank you to the three MM on those days, it was an amazing back and forth comunication sadly these last three days I'm lucky enough to 2-3 items

looking forward to tomorrow, it cannot always stay this sad (can it?) I think i will only send up to 5 items rather than a bunch next time

I think my MM disappeared on me again. I sent a greeting to them, they sent something back. Was a bit excited thinking I was going to have an active MM after 3-4 days of non active ones. Then they sent about 4 items my way, so I sent them a themed amount of gifts back. Nothing since then.....probably been a good half hour now. Oh well, perhaps tomorrow's will be better.

I know it's the thought that counts and it's supposed to be about the giving, but it's really difficult to keep up the good attitude when for almost a week, every day in a row, when I've really taken the time to put together something nice every day and I get back nothing in return or that day's Melody items. It's just...if you're not going to put any effort whatsoever into it, you probably shouldn't be doing it. I might try a couple more times, but I guess the spirit's just been a little ruined for me.

My MM today was amazing. I was actually expecting to get another inactive/junk dumping MM and ended up getting gift bombed with wow...so many wonderful (and not to mention very expensive) items. I sent as much as I could to reciprocate but I clearly didn't have the same budget. MM did let me know they appreciated my gifts though so yay! :)

I sent my MM today a greeting and a nice little opening set of items (I was second to join), but I've gotten nothing. Not even a "your gifts suck" gift.

Another day, another lazy dud.

How hard it is to NOT sign up if you're not even going to show some courtesy? There has got to be a way to track these people. =/

I have a really good MM today. We said hi, sent thematic gifts back and forth, and had really good communication going for us. I'm sorry I've run out of money, MM, but thank you so much for everything!

Ugh first I had a terrible MM yesterday that sent a few pieces of junk, and today my MM has been completely unresponsive. Oh well. :(
