The rescue station in the Galaxan Wastelands has been completely rebuilt! Celesse now runs the operation. She'll greet you, comment on the minions, and celebrate when you pop a bubble. Each trapped minion gets a cute nickname and a visible satisfaction meter that fills as you feed it. No more invisible dice rolls - watch the bubble (the little border - i'm working on this!) wobble, crack, and shake as it gets close to popping! Feed any food you have (no more specific food requirements), but pay attention to reactions ... minions have preferences that the community discovers together over time. After feeding, vote on whether the minion enjoyed it to help build the Field Guide (or lie to throw everyone else off!). Your existing scores and medals are all preserved. Happy rescuing!
Yeah look I will say, I did spend 30 minutes feeding a minion yesterday as the only feeder, only for someone else to pop in at the last moment and yoink it from me. I've been trying not to feel frustrated by that, because I know it's the way the game works, but for me to put in all those items and all that time to get nothing is a bit of a bummer. Plus I'm certain that Rescue Helper isn't working, because I should definitely have received it at least once by now.
i think it should be random when it pops and not a progress bar ( or if there is a progress bar, that it's hidden) and that feeding is anonymous. i clicked in just now out of curiosity and could have "sniped" something but felt like I couldn't participate since idk if someone had been feeding them a bunch. 🤷♀️
that way it acts more like a mini slots or lottery.
I don't see any bubbles or minions, just instructions on a dark grey page that are hard to read unless they're in a light colored section.
Think it'd be better if once the meter was filled, everyone who fed it got their percentage of feeding as their chance to win the minion... like the minion is deciding who it liked more based on the entire length of actions, so its weighted toward people who did the most work but isn't guaranteed, to encourage random feedings, reward grinders, and make it feel less socially hostile.
feeding what you think will be the last bite on a minion you've been working on, only for the bar to hit 99.7% and someone else immediately snags it is... just an immediate nope out
very cute update!! I'm really loving all of the refreshes on the new site. However oofa fruit doesn't seem to count as a food item for the minions and I have many oofa fruit due to my crippling slots addiction so I would like to be able to feed them to the minions if possible <3
so frustrating! one player keeps sniping my minions - tears. they iust lie in wait doing nothing and swoop in and claim like 4 minions at once. my dude! wth?
