They work like the limb feature that they're attached to - you can add/remove them there, but they do not become items or redeemable, if you want to use one a couple of items you'll have to pay for it!

it costs 10k sp to use the treatment to get the infections specific stage overlay here: This~. Once you click it takes the sp and it may take a minute or two, but the infections stage overlay should show up in Kumos Wardrobe. If it doesn't clear caches or update browser. If it still doesn't make a bug report saying what device ur using and browser.
