I'll have a fix out for this today, and the "ping user" button not working :).

The "hide" link works now on the home page to hide that section, and will keep it hidden!

Working on the ping & quote buttons. The input field around the site got an upgrade, so now it can (in line) show things like bold/etc. This also makes it so that it's much easier on the backend. That upgrade made it so that the buttons that put stuff directly into the input field, so the quote button, the Ping button, those won't work immediately, but it's pretty easy to get them working again. The benefits of having this editor are huge. There's the little Preview button, which doesn't work super well right now, but once we get that working, that'll be able to work around the whole site, and we can get rid of that preview modal that doesn't really work well in most places. It means that it's using the exact same text backend everywhere. Shockingly, we don't do that now, lol, it's all a unique input field.
