I'm liking the new quickstock so far (item images! info on how many things you're sorting where! LOUD RED radio buttons for the delete column!). But it is just different enough from the old one that it's making my brain itchy. So instead of me grumbling to myself, here's a (hopefully useful!) feedback/suggestion topic with some QoL/UX tweaks. (I genuinely didn't know where else to put this, the forums are still very confusing to me even a year or so after the forum squish.)

But anyway! The feedback:

  • Having only one "Stock Items" button on the top is not ideal when you're moving a lot of items. Either have the "Stock Items" button also on the bottom, so you don't have to scroll all the way up to quickstock your stuff. Done, thank you!
  • Have the whole upper menu/quickstock selection bar (quantity, shop, vault, wardrobe, armory, etc.) + the "Stock Items" button "stick" to the top of the page when you scroll down. That way, you don't lose track over which little column does what and you can quickstock more easily with less scrolling.
  • Add a vertical line separating the "Donate" and "Delete" options from the "Keep" radio button (and the rest of the quickstock options), going all the way from the top to the bottom of the quickstock table. It would be a good visual indicator for those who are not yet used to the arrangement of the quickstock buttons.
  • The "split" next to the item quantity is confusing and I couldn't even tell it was a button at first! Re-adding the little + in front of the item name (or in this case, item image) to expand grouped items would make it easier to understand.
  • The # 1 # 2 # 3 lines when you expand the dropdown are confusing. Maybe have them show the item name instead of the numbers? Or smaller item image + item name.
  • The column names being clickable to quick-categorize ALL inventory items to be vaulted/sent to shop/etc. was not immediately obvious to me. Someone on the discord reminded me that there used to be a radio button that selected the whole column. Maybe that can be re-added? Or it could be made a little clearer that the column names are clickable buttons.
  • I'm assuming that the current item listing in quickstock is by ID, which is very jarring. The previous version had alphabetical listing which was easier to follow.
  • Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I genuinely do not remember the previous quickstock having an "Are you sure?" popup for quickstocking. o.o It's a bit off-putting because I can't hit my "enter" key to bypass it, that just taps the "Quickstock" button again and gives me another popup. Would it be possible to remove the popup? Or swap the location of the "cancel" and "stock" buttons in the popup.
  • Center the "Quickstock" button.
  • Highlight/outline wishlist items, if possible.

EDIT: I'm sorry for the accidental group ping. x-x I copy/pasted part of this from my discord ramble last night.

I already said "Thank you" for hearing my pleas on my "After downtime..." thread, but want to repeat it here!

One little thing, which is missing compared to the old style, is (some of us have mentioned it) the nice vertical line separating keep/donate/delete from the first 5. If you have a full inventory, that helps with not accidentally clicking a wrong colum on the way down, far away from the column names.

Maybe it's possible to add this as well?

Thank you, it looks even better and it's much easier to use! I've crossed out the suggestions that you have added so it's easier to see what's done. I've also added the suggestion that mentioned - that's a really good QoL feature.
