I finished the first Brennan book and started the second. She really came through in the end, I'm not sure I could have done that.

It has been a long time since I read that book. I can't remember it.

Really? I may forget some details but I remember the basic story.

I used to be able to read a first chapter and say that I had already read it, but not any more ... the same with a TV show. I could watch the same episode every couple of weeks and not know that I have seen it, Saves flicking channels.

Yes since it happened. But the main issue is that I can read and enjoy books. I wonder sometimes if I was blind. would I enjoy hearing a book.

If I had no other choice, I'd listen to books, but I think it would put me to sleep. I like physical books most. LOL, I have had people stare at me for sniffing brand new books. The smell is intoxicating to me.

Have never read a book in digital form. Best I have have done is looked up a summary and read that. I like a physical book too. The act of turning a page, putting in a book mark to know where to begin again etc. Not that I have ever thought of sniffing a new one but think it would be like the smell of a brand new car.

Yes, that's a good comparison. I also loved it when I walked into a library and I could smell the old book smell. You can't get that with electronics.
