The Hustler has something new! The Hustler has a new 5000 Credit Gift Card available for a limited time! Check it out → "Sorry kid, I just sold my last 5000 Credit Gift Card. Check back some other time. I might have something else."
I have no idea what this sold for, but surely selling CSC at a discount is a bad idea. D:
i also would really prefer 10 csc per day, both because the odd number bothers me and because 7 doesn't feel like much lol ; __ ; at the end of the month that's 210 csc which isn't even enough for a monthly collection rip
I can't find the other topic. I think the SP for Wizard could be bumped up a bit on the new system. I feel like he gave more the other 2 days but i am not 100% Today I noticed it though. He asks for around 8-10k in items most not in store, his base pay is 10k and then the bonus was a little over 1k - a little over 4k. While at least its not loosing SP most of the others have a higher pay like Mabel has a bas of 35k while her items cost about the same. I know the prize for wizard is the tokens it was just something to point out cause i have a similar issue with clothing rack and weaponry.
I can not edit my post, I do not love the uneven amount but the fact that doing it for 10 days does make it even helps some. I just hate my csc being uneven.
that is a hefty cut in quests csc. what does it mean to have "too much csc floating out there" anyway? also why not 10? at least half would be a compromise. 7 makes no sense

My incentive to keep playing is really dwindling because it seems that anything that ultimately benefits a player, it seems to get cut in the end because "there's too much floating out there."
Yeah, 28,747,499 sP for 250CSC cards in usershops today. When I joined, it was barely 2.5mil, admittedly 16 years ago, and that was BEFORE CWs.
CAN WE ADDRESS THAT INFLATION TOO OR

It is interesting when you look at the price history graphs on Subetalodge for Credit Gift Cards and Morty Cards. Is it coincidence that the prices have risen between 26% to 40% for these CSC items since Kumos Quests were released? My guess is that some users stopped completing legacy quests, reducing the introduction of Morty Cards, and relied on the payout of Kumos Quests instead. Unfortunately, there is not a reminder to collect the CSC on Kumos, so I'm sure some CSC goes uncollected (this has happened to me several times.) In addition, the CSC reward was reduced on Kumos from 20 to 7. I think the CSC reward should be revisited at some point. Prior to the release of Kumos Quests, the average daily CSC reward from legacy quests through Morty Cards was 21.75 CSC per day. That is now capped at 7 CSC per day if only doing Kumos Quests.

I'm probably going to bump this back up to 10 this week after looking at the numbers, but something I want to / need to stress in this thread is cash shop credits is how we keep Subeta running.
Every single credit we give away is a balancing act between making sure that we don't gatekeep access to entire parts of the site or functionality, while still being able to pay our incredible illustrators and support staff to do their jobs.
How do you suggest I address that inflation? The other questing thread kept pushing that not enough sP was given out, folks want to walk away with millions in profit per day because prices keep getting pushed up which is due to there being too much sP circulating and not enough methods of removing it.
I would love to hear any ideas on resolving it, though!

I had to take a while to think on this. Because my knee jerk reaction was what I've been giving a lot of people online and, while that's great for real life politics, I know where that stands here. It's why we no longer have a debate section to the forums. People couldn't be civil.
So I'll do my best to be in this instance:
Restricting down CSC, from where I'm standing/sitting, doesn't seem to be a good idea in the long haul. That'll further inflate the prices. But neither will flooding the market with CSC, that'll just diminish it down into nothing overnight. Iirc, I think this was (one of) my main argument(s) against CWs back... years ago... was the potential of this.
The two are linked in many ways but it boils down pretty simply, if I can have some indulgence, in that if you have a lot of money to pour into a petsite, you'll be just fine and dandy as far as CSC and CWs. Meanwhile, there's players who are either just starting out and aren't sure about spending real life money on the site, haven't made enough sP to buy CSC on here, or just straight up can't afford to spend the aforementioned real life money because of real life politics.
But that's teetering into a spot I know I'm not supposed to go into on here. So here's my "I've been arguing with a very specific demographic of people online and my Mom's sick so I'm just very tired of arguing" solution:
Make the higher CSC like Sarah's Quests, make it a newbie buff, make it a perk for half an hour with an hour cap so you can have an sP sink, remove some of the CSC already in the pool by the SubetaTeam account (which I haven't seen a whisker of in idk how long.)
You wanted ideas.
[edit]Mom isn't "sick sick," she had to take some medication for an appointment and that gave her some problems. As of Dec 1st, she's fine.

I'm sorry about your mother, and I'm also sorry that it feels like I'm trying to argue.
What I'm saying is that Subeta is expensive to run, we do not have the luxury any more of waiting three years for a user to appreciate the free amount of CSC they get playing a free game to decide to get a gold account or buy a monthly collection. I am trying to keep the lights on.

Hey Keith, just wanted to say thank you for raising the daily reward to 10 CSC! I appreciate any amount we get for free and I think that, plus what we get from the bathhouse, is quite generous. I used to be able to spend more here but my expenses have been a lot higher the last couple years so I've had to cut back and get by mostly with what comes with my subscription and whatever I can scrape up for free. And I still feel like I'm pretty much able to get what I want from the cash shop because of your generosity. I hope I'll be able to afford to spend more here again someday, but the site needs to still be around for that - do whatever you have to do to keep it running!
