I have gone down the rabbit hole, there are so many different types of granny squares online. So I find free patterns that have printable PDFs. I also found a granny square cardigan/sweater, that I want to try to do in the future.

You know I have seen so many beautiful crochet projects guys are doing, and some are military vets. It helps them, with their PTSD issues.

Oh most definitely. We drove to Dallas twice last month, going and coming each trip 20 hours. I crocheted the whole time, and was in charge of navigating too. sure helped pass the time. Plus crocheting will help my hand recover once the cast is off. Poor Cody his convinced, he can get my cast off by bathing it.
