If that Chow was black he could pass for my third dog Toby. The only big dog I ever had. I was caring for him for my brother while he was a truck driver and I "stole" him from Kelly when winter was approaching. I didn't care for the thought of feeding and watering him across the street in bad weather, so I moved him to my house. Much more convenient. And a lot less lonely for poor Toby.

The chow is red like Roxy was, but Ringo looked more like a chow then Roxy. She had more German Shepard characteristics.

nods Toby was supposedly half Lab half Chow but he could pass for a Chow easily, except for his eyes. His eyes were more like a Lab's. And he had a total Lab temperament. Not a mean or aggressive bone in his body.

Both Ringo and roxy werent agressive.

I guess it just depends on the dog. Kelly had another Chow/Lab mix. Physically she took after the Lab, but she was a cat-killer and I wouldn't trust her around my small dogs at all. I'm pretty sure she bit Gypsy when a neighbor saw her loose and was stupid enough to put her in MY backyard.

Hey, Bears! I just started a new HA contest over on Kumos that the older members would probably enjoy. It's characters from shows from the 60s. It can range from cop shows to Bewitched to Beverly Hillbillies and so on.

: My adopted city is Fresno, California. A lot of humans are embarrassed about Fresno for many reasons, crime, homelessness, over a century of rampant corruption in city government. ( Operation Rezone-F.B.I ) But it's really a nice place. I'm embarrassed that Fresno has four Superfund sites: Oberty Olives salt contamination, Forestry Wood Products lumber treatment soil contamination, Purity Oil ( US military waste oil contamination from WWII ), and Fresno Municipal Waste Landfill. It's ironic that the Landfill is also designated as a National Historical destination, because it was the first such landfill;; to develop "sanitary waste management"...also known as compact and cover.
