OK Miss - lemme start my guessing LOL Dont laugh at my choices. heheheh
First Guess: "Wildfire" because it mentions the girl died in a blizzard one year.
you sound so upbeat today!! <3 Some of the stuff we did in the past just draws me into its emotional security and I cant stop daydreaming about the fun, the people and the conversations!! A happy place for sure. Btw my Schwin was a boys purple. The places I traveled on that thing of beauty!!
- But my front tire wasnt this little it was normal size.

OMG - THANK YOU FOR THE BUDDY!!!!

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. I tried to cover as much as I could. The horse, the girl, the blizzard, even a touch of the whirlwind by her side. Love the bike, I see it didn't have the sissy bars!
This is what mine looked like, though I seem to remember the seat was glittery blue or purple.https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=0zuQHoPx&id=F2F7E28B0E4FE4EAE49BA591DD343E33678E261F&thid=OIP.0zuQHoPxYRVnfVJaXsTHCgHaJ8&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.pinimg.com%2Foriginals%2Fe8%2F33%2F21%2Fe8332183dc1be21313003d56bcf70543.jpg&cdnurl=https%3A%2F%2Fth.bing.com%2Fth%2Fid%2FR.d33b901e83f16115677d525a5ec4c70a%3Frik%3DHyaOZzM%252bNN2RpQ%26pid%3DImgRaw%26r%3D0&exph=1513&expw=1126&q=bike+sissy+bar&simid=607998535003698448&FORM=IRPRST&ck=2FB740C94C7E69B46E01C508AFF362C8&selectedIndex=2&itb=0&cw=1364&ch=606&ajaxhist=0&ajaxserp=0

- You did a good job with the HA!!! That was a really good song, too.
No - I liked the teenie bar so people could jump on while I was riding without getting hurt. Plus I could lean back on that when I had to put groceries for my MOM in front of me. Until my lazy Father decided I could haul more and bought me a gorgeous deep white wicker basket with a purple bow weaved all around it, to mount on the front.
HOLY MOLEY - Now thats a Sissy Bar!!! LOL My little sister had a green bike. My brother had a bronze one, with a bar shifter. None of us had a big sissy bar. But they were our transportation away from the house of crazy!! hahahahaha I rode mine all the way into the city to see my Mom-Mom in Little Italy. She was totally amazed but called my Mom to let her know where I was. My Uncle was telling me how cool it was to take such a chance and reminded me that a big ass whippin was comin from my Dad. LOL I did it again and again.

I'm just glad someone recognized it. That does sound gorgeous. I had a handmedown beat-up metal basket that had definitely seen better days. Then when I later got a brand new bike I insisted it have a bike rack over the back wheel. I got an old milk crate and used bungee cords to attach it. Used it to go shop for used books on 6th St.

that sounds awesome!!!! We had great ideas back then and still today. Ingenuity at its finest. Our little minds were always thinking and tinkering!!
We werent allowed to try to revamp anything my FATHER spent his money on, until it got older and didnt look so new. Then we were allowed to turn it MAD MAX! We used to steal the wooden orange crates from the Food Fair up the street and we would haul them home and turn them into the base for all types of moving vehicles. LOL A lot of the food carts would come up with missing wheels too. There was like a whole gang of us that hunted parts down. We made box scooters and revised them over and over until we could handle them and they were street worthy. We made skateboards too before skateboards were ever a thing. WIsh I knew you back in the day. Im sure the gang would have pulled you right in. <3

That sounds like lots of fun. I seem to remember my brother putting together a homemade skateboard. I never asked him where he got the skates he used, LOL! Also in awe of you riding clean into the city like that. I would never have had the nerve.
Edit: , I put this HA together because of our discussion. The HA is as childlike as I can make her. Would you believe that as far as I can tell, there is only one bicycle on this site?

Tempest has descended from above in order to play! You receive a storm item so she can get close enough to give you a MIGHTY BEAR HUG.

omg!! I love it Her hair color looks kinda like mine back in the day. But mine was darker. I LOVE IT!!!!
Maybe we can suggest Keith have the artists make some items from the 70's for later purchase in a specialty shop.
THat would be an awesome idea!! How can you say no to stuff from all of our childhoods. We need new items and a new shop anyway.

Oooo, I'd love to see one particular toy from my childhood. There was a heavy plastic ring you put around your ankle and it had a rubber ball attached by a cord. You twirled it around and jumped over it with your other leg. I have no idea what it was called.

I remember enjoying the flap of the denism material on my legs. Your welcome!
With bell bottoms, you mean? I just liked how stylish they were.

Yes, and they were stylish even in the waist.
nods Mind you, not everything was pretty. I remember a brief period in 7th or 8th grade when what I called "clown costumes" were the fad. Loose fitting bodysuits in garish colors with a huge bow on the back. Utterly hideous but every girl had to have one. Yuck.

How did we survive wearing some of the one that were just goofy and weird?
LOL, I didn't. I took one look at those things and turned my nose up. I do remember liking hot pants though.

I couldnt wear hot pants, my Mom would have snatched me bald headed.
LOL, somewhere there exists a picture taken at a rest stop of Mom, Debby and I all in hot pants!
You found a(n) Money Tree in the pool!
