Day 18 Cake or Pie: Italian Cream Cake

Day 18 - definitely pie! I used to love cake as a kid, but as an adult it doesn't hold the same charm anymore. I love a good homemade pie, though.

What makes me happy? All the golden oldies! Free Bird, Born to be Wild, just about all the old classics. I love the Eagles, Journey, Three Dog Night, Kansas and dozens of other bands.

Something that makes me happy is fishing with the dog.. :) She has fun running up and down the beach and i get tangled in the leash and almost drown or lose my fish.. :P Sunshine feels good on the skin.

Day 19 - at this time of life, still breathing makes me happy ;) lol

• My twins, even though between everyday stress I don't always appreciate them as much as I should
• Nature, especially when it's still intact
• Being kind to others
• Animals of all kinds, especially our cat
• Traveling, even though I wasn't abroad much lately because first the kids were too little, then Covid hit. But I might go to Verona/Italy in autumn with my penpal
• Chocolate (when everthing else fails)
