What browser are you using? Have you tried a different one to see if it persists?

Thank you for the topic, and it's the perfect place to leave feedback like this. Thanks for jumping into Kumos, and I'd really like to solve this. If you've got any screenshots (or if you can take one , since you've got the same problem?) to share, that'd help a ton.

I'm going to borrow a windows laptop from a friend this week that has a medium resolution (it's about ten years old) and take a look at what you're talking about, the tools I have available (which just tries to replicate the screen sizes) shows it how I'd expect, taking up a moderate amount of space in the middle of the screen. You can hit the esc key on your keyboard to close it, as well.

I'll report back once I've had a chance to look at it, and I'll also look at moving that configuration to it's own page and out of the popup, like it is on the main site.

hey y’all! i finally got my hands on that windows laptop with the lower resolution and just pushed a fix for the widget manager—should solve the issue. now, the modal should stay centered, and the content will scroll if there’s not enough space.

legacy subeta didn’t use many modals (mostly bc we couldn’t persist data or handle form updates properly), so i’m still refining how we use them here. we were relying on a library before, but this morning i rewrote the code by hand. let me know if it still looks off!

okay, so the modal was NOT it 😮‍💨. i’ve moved the sidebar configuration to a new page in account settings, along with individual widget settings.

now you can scroll freely and see the sidebar while making changes—definitely an upgrade!
