The contest says it is "blind" but the entry image's alt text says the entrant's name. So if you have a slow-loading page, or if you inspect the element in the browser, you can see whose entry it is.

That probably isn't intended, so I thought I'd bring it up!

Also maybe remove the user-given title of the outfit during entry and voting phase? Not sure. But it might give away a lot too.

I also noticed that since last week, I keep getting logged out when closing the browser, no matter if I check the "keep me logged in box" or not. What changed? It wasn't like that until recently.

So, I was able to cast votes to 3 entries. In the Voting Phase Active! description as well as the "How to vote" it said one vote though. Also in the "current vote view" section (which I love!) only one vote is displayed.

And as the user name as well as number of votes is displayed in that section it's easy to change your votes according to that. Which should not happen in a blind voting contest. Those informations should not be displayed at all.

Feedback regarding the last blind contest:

People already pointed it out that you could see the username and how many votes they had after voting, but I'd like to point out that I didn't realize you could vote 3 times for that last round. It didn't mention anywhere on the page (as far as I'm aware) that I had 3 votes to cast. Also, in the event of a tie does the win get randomly assigned?

All right, getting in the final pieces of feedback today before launching this!

• Making sure it's clear how many votes you have in the voting phase (because that's a configuration option for the creator)
• ✅ Fixing the username/outfit showing up after you've voted for someone

👀 i happened to see i could make a contest so i did. one thing i noticed is that i chose creator's choice voting, "winner takes all," and only did sP as a prize with the intent to select only one winner, but under the "voting process" it says "the creator will select and rank their top 5 entries." not sure if intended or if i goofed somehow.

Now the entries are without user name or title, which is great! It's not possible to add a reaction anymore though, is that by design? It says in the "important notes": Reactions can be given at any time and are applied to the outfit itself, not the contest entry.

Would it be possible to repeat the specific contest rules (not the general rules or the voting rules) on the view entries page too? There is so much space at the top and it would be a nice reminder when viewing the entries.

Hiya Keith! Not sure if you've seen some of the talk about the latest contests but people are having issues submitting their HAs to the Pale Freckle Lotion contest. I can confirm that I am having problems with it as well. I can view the contest, go to my outfits page and select the HA, but the contest does not show up in the list of currently open contests. Tried on both desktop and phone.

On a similar note, I cannot view 's contest at all. When I click view it just shows me to the 'Oops! Something Went Wrong.' error. I'm personally experiencing it both on desktop and phone, but emmie on the discord was able to open it on phone. Funny enough I can enter her contest even though I can't view it, lol. Brinny's also mentioned in the Avatar Contest news post that she isn't able to view her own contest and is not sure how she's supposed to judge the entries.

ok..here is a big post about the challenges I have with the new contest (though I do appreciate we can hold these! it's a great feature!)

First of all, I set my contest as follows:

I know for a fact, someone who is NOT on my friends list was able to enter my contest, oh and I myself can also enter my contest. If you enter the contest via the Wardrobe Outfit area..it doesn't seem to check validation on the criteria of the contest maybe? Person not on my friends list Archer (we are friends lol just for some reason not on subeta yet haha) And this is my own entry into my own contest:

HOWEVER, if I try and view the contest either from the active contest page OR from the back way through Wardrobe Outfit way, I get the following message:

I'm not sure why I can't view my own contest...

One suggestion, I don't see any way that we cancel/delete/amend a contest once it's created. What happens if I selected friends only but really wanted it public, for example.

One last thing, since I was able to enter my own contest, it gives me the option to view entries now..and it's already giving me the option to choose a winner, even though the contest isn't over. Not that I would..but it does seem odd.

Edit: was just thinking, if we are creating a contest for people solely on our Friends list (or maybe in our Forum Groups in the future?), is there a way to advertise said contest to them all? Like an event notification?

there seems to be a bug/oversight where deleting an outfit that you've used as a contest entry breaks your ability to... do anything with that contest. can't view it because you just get a server error. can't remove your entry because there's no entry to remove. can't enter it from the outfits > enter in contest link because you already entered the contest, but clicking "view entry" just takes you back to that server error.

i just wanted to make a little change to my entry and now i can't actually use it because i stupidly deleted the outfit before removing the entry, which is a bummer because i quite liked what i came up with... normally i have been pretty careful about this but i guess i got trigger happy on deleting the "old" version. ideally it should be the case that deleting your outfit also withdraws your entry from the contest so you can re-enter it with a new outfit.

EDIT: seems to have worked itself out. not sure if it was a cache thing or what (i did clear it on my end but maybe on the site's end it takes a little while to update) but my entry was eventually "removed" so i could re-enter with a new one.

I own everything in the HA, i can wear it, i have even tried to enter the HA while wearing it on site and yet i still can't enter the contests with the requirement to own the item. i'm at a loss it worked for like 1 hour on the second day for me but not before and not since then. i try it every now and then if it works but no luck.

have you tried re-saving the avatar? i saved one where i thought i owned all the items, couldn't enter it, double checked and realized i'd missed one, bought the item, and still couldn't enter it into the contest. i made super duper sure that i owned every item and had it in my wardrobe and it still wouldn't work. finally it occurred to me that maybe the avatar needs to have been saved WHILE you already owned everything, so i just saved a new copy of it... and that worked.

yes i owned them all before i made the HA too. the most recent item from the outfit i own since a little over a month. i tried to resave it anyways but no luck with the resaved one either.

ahh, not sure what's going on then, sorry... hope you get it figured out u_u

EDIT: did you also check that it's under the sP value limit for the contest in question? that might not be the issue but it's worth checking.

on the main topic of feedback/suggestions, i've had a couple more thoughts now that people seem to be getting into the swing of things:

• can we get some sort of indication for which contests we've already entered, like a little green check mark next to its name on the list? right now it's not a huge deal, but as more and more contests are being made, it's more and more likely that i might see ones (spread across multiple pages, no less) that i think sound interesting and then click on them only to realize i've already entered them. it would be extremely useful to be able to just see at a glance whether i've already entered one and can thus skip over looking at it again.

• i know anonymous entries have their titles hidden because otherwise we could just search for the outfits by name and see who made them, rendering the anonymity useless... but it's sort of a bummer not being able to see those, especially in contests where that would include important contextual information like what person/character/concept an avatar is meant to represent. maybe there should just be more clarity about how the anonymous entry setting affects outfit names so creators don't enable it for contests where the outfit title is an important aspect of the entry.

yea that is one of the first things i checked but i could add an extra 800M sp to my outfit and still be under the 1 Billion sp limit

[edit] after slowly removing some items it did let me finally enter... i am not sure why though. all the contests with the same sp limit that do not requite me to own the items always showed up, and the Estimated Value barely changed. and yes i own the items i removed.

I am still unable to enter the Pale Freckle contest.

I have tried:

• entering on my phone
• clearing cached data
• logging out and back in
• entering using a different browser
• entering a different outfit
• entering an old outfit
• saving the outfit as a new outfit
• making changes to the outfit and saving it as a new outfit (twice)
• making sure I own everything
• making sure it's under the sP limit
• removing any CWs
• adding a CW
• creating a HA that is simply the required item and nothing else

Still Ima keep trying lol

Some Finished Outfit contests now seemingly are stuck in "Open" instead of going to "Voting" As they say "Ends 2 days ago" This is most likely a glitch I'm guessing.

yeap, also seeing several contests as having "ended _ days ago" but unable to move onto the voting/selection stage. wonder what's going on there...

Any updates on why certain contests aren't showing up for some users/outfits? I'm really bummed that I won't be able to join a handful of contests that I spent hours making HAs for before their entry phases close. :(

[edit] Okay I was able to enter all of the ownership requirement contests I made HAs for except for the Pale Freckle Lotion one. I had to build up the HAs all over again from scratch (by going through and adding each item layer by layer) and save them as new outfits. No using the "try on" button from the saved outfit and no using the search bar to find items. Only then did it work. Not sure why but I'm just happy I get to enter a couple more contests.

My contest has concluded 21 hours ago as of posting, but I'm unable to select winners. The option now comes up as a big brown button to select winners and brings up a drop down menu for each place. However, when I click on them nothing happens. I normally use Firefox and when it didn't work there I tried Edge with the same result. It looks like something is happening, but zilch.

I still can't vote and it says my contest ends in 7 hours. Is there a way for me to get the names of the contestants so I can hand out prizes manually?

Edit: Well now it's letting me vote. I think.

Still very very sad thst I don't get to enter the Pale Freckle Contest :/
