not at all! we're working together here to get this to a place that works for the site and all of you (the more important part!)
💖 ✨ 🤗
Let's see let's see. Maybe it sounds lazy but I prefered when you selected "buy from shops/buy from user shops/remove from vault" in the menu and then clicked "complete". I suposse it got changed for some reason (there are... 32 topic pages, sorry guys, I'm not reading ALL that, Keith did it though)
In the legacy site you either have all the items or you did not in case you bought one item but not the other you kept that one, but in kumos you can give items one by one, so, question, what happens when you half complete a quest? I assume you lost the item you gave, of course, but just to be sure.
For some reason the daily quest on kumos only restart for me when I complete ALL the quests? I'm not sure though, cause I haven been paying enough attention but I'm under that impression.
Keep the confetti, I love the silly confetti, the confetti celebrates!!! trows confetti
I guess placing the items quests on the top bar is helpful for mobile users but I haven't tested yet.
I'm on PC and yes, I have to ckeck both, NPC shops and users shops, to check wich one is cheaper, in regular items there is not really a difference but in jewerlly there are 10K differences thats more like ot :K Also I wil aprecciate, like it was before, that the vault option let me check how many items of that kind I have and IF they are on a category... I store some items for treasure pets for later and wouldn't want to give one of those accidentally.
If you want to know how I handle myself in legacy subeta I'll tell you, but its a bit weird cause I almost no click a thing.
1 Go to the quester, place the mouse strategically and click the "start quest button" 2 Click the page background (not a button) and hit the tab, that will select the shop search button, click intro 3 Click the BG, hit tab twice, hit intro, hit ALT+left arrow (back to the quester page) 4 Click the BG, hit tab twice to select the second shop search button 5 Click the BG, hit tab twice, hit intro, hit ALT+left arrow (back to the quester page) 6 Click the BG, tab x 3 times, click intro, quest done! And Then, click BG again, then tab, and then intro to start a new quest. Once I discovered this I went super fast, much more than moving the mouse and cliking the buy item button.
I don't mind the new gameplay loop for quests, I like that you can turn it in from every page meaning I don't have to open new tabs for each purchase. Seems fine to me, it'll take a little while to get used to, but so would anything. I've been doing quests the old/current way for a looooong time.
The lag for buying and turning in the items is pretty significant. It seems to time out while completing as well, with the confetti popping up but the completion not going through. I'm sure you're aware of this and working on it, I just thought I'd mention it anyway.
I'm enjoying the increased amount of data we can see in both the quests and the NPC shops. I just love to see some good data, I don't even know what I'd do with it.
I like that quests will rotate instead of just having quest types that get ignored. I'd rather do a small amount of useful quests than have a ton of quests available and have to push myself to do more than 1-2 types per day.
and others having lag issues (I've been working on this today!) are you getting lag specifically on buying from user shops, taking from vaults, etc, or on every action?
If you look at your inventory on legacy, how many items do you have? I'm wondering if it's an issue with inventory sizes, or something. I'm personally able to move through them pretty quickly, but also have fast fiber internet in a major city, so I know I'm not the norm!
or anything else that you can see that might give me a direction to go in 🙏

Agree with , I also preferred having the radio buttons and being able to just select buy from shops/buy from user shops/remove from vault. It made questing easier, quicker and more convenient.
Unfortunately, that isn't possible anymore. It made it too easy -- when we had hundreds of users using the quests at the same time, they were getting errors buying items because they were all loading the pages with the same requests and user shop options. You can look at the last few pages and I explain more in depth, but it's not going to be coming back to that method - but I am moving forward making this option as quick as possible!

- Oh good question! I dumped my inventory into my shop after I did quests, but I did have a decent chunk of floating items and currency in there. I'll try it again with an empty inventory tomorrow/tonight and report back.
The lag was for every button press - so loading the shop search or the NPC shops, turning items in or completing quests, all of which had a significant lag at every step. It could take me up to a couple of minutes overall to complete each quest.
The legacy site loads fine for me and usually Kumos does as well. However I'm Australian, so I am used to some sites lagging depending on how spread out their servers are. Not normally a problem with Subeta, though, which is why I mentioned it.
Kumos quests have been much less laggy for me today which is wonderful! I've had no issues with having to multi-click the buttons to make things work either <3 I also really love the fact I can hover over the buttons to see the shop price (if the item's available in the npc store) to compare to the user prices!
However, I'm not sure if the 'in your shop' button is supposed to do something?! Obviously on legacy, if I shop search from the quest page, there's a button to move the item from my own shop into my inventory from the user shop page... But on Kumos, if I have an item in my shop (with the three buttons available), clicking the 'in your shop' button doesn't do anything - I thought it would maybe move the item from my shop to inventory to let me turn in or something, instead of just... Telling me I have the item already?😅🤣
// Edit to add: I use the Brave browser on PC, if that's relevant!
// Second edit: Clicking the button (I had two items in my inventory already, had to buy one, and the last one was in my shop) didn't do anything at all😅 It's the same for all quests, not just Pete's

Thank you for putting the "Quests" button in. <3
I finished Wiz quests and the new system works good. I find it just as fast as legacy wiz quests. I like the extra items we get along with the tokens. I'm going to try some of the other quests now.
Just completed Mabel’s quests.
Looking much better on mobile. I’m not having to scroll anywhere near as much. Thank you.
Tried to start Mabel’s quest, nothing showed. Pressed start quest twice, still nothing. Went to Wizard’s quest, pressed start quest, got an error and then Mabel’s appeared in the top bar. Completed this, then the next quest automatically showed in the top bar. This stopped once I finished the second quest.
Viewing NPC and User Shop at the same time like on legacy is definitely missed. I find the top bar is the most intuitive thing to use on mobile (as it’s right there centre screen) but found myself trying to click in the image to get the legacy shop search up.
Overall, it’s a step in the right direction for sure.
(Although, I can’t help but feel nostalgic about the old site and sad for losing things that didn’t seem broken from a user-perspective and the whole site seeming to change perhaps beyond recognition.)
EDIT: I’ve now got stuck on Saggi’s quest. Three items requested, Pearl Long Beaded Necklace will not allow me to turn in. I’ve bought it three times now, once using legacy user search, once using Kumos user search, and once using Kumos NPC shop. I am able to turn in the two other items no problem, but every time I press complete quest (whilst greyed out) it just gives me loads of confetti (see here: https://imgur.com/a/a8zdA3t)
Still getting "404 - Item not found" errors
I received it when I had all three items in my inventory and went to complete the quest. Then I get back to the quest, and get this message with no place to get back to complete the quest. 🙄

I feel like the mobile site still has far too much scrolling. Part of it is the text that you have to scroll through to get to the second start quest button, even after clicking start quest initially from the top bar. Then you have to scroll down to look at the shop search, then scroll to the side to actually find the buy button. When grabbing items from the vault, there is a whole lot of extra stuff that needs to be scrolled past in order to get to the remove button (is there any way to just be able to auto take something from the vault, since noone else will be fighting for that item, similar to the first kumos version?).
Personally, I prefer the layout on the legacy site, where it is just a miniaturized version of desktop. Is there a way to have that option for kumos? Currently, I can't even easily zoom out on kumos to try to make the text smaller.
Questing went good. It was quick to complete them and I'm really getting the hang of them. I don't mind them this way. I would continue to do them as they are now.
Questing was buttery smooooth today, I still have to get used to the new system (I have a nasty habit of using tabs for shop searching, which is optimal for Legacy but not here), otherwise it's 👌. I like the fact that you can see the price of an item currently available in the Main Shops by hovering over the boutique icon, that's convenient. I did encounter a tiny bug, though. Occasionally, when I clicked on the “Start Quest” button, nothing happened although the "Quest started!" banner appeared, I had to click several times for it to work.
I'm completing quests on mobile for the first time and I actually really like it! Kumos is much easier to navigate overall compared to legacy!
However, I was running into an issue again when completing quests: If I don't click 'turn in' on each item before 'complete quest', I get a 404 page error and have to manually go back to the quester page. It shows the quest is completed but doesn't show me my rewards etc
So first things first, I can open the sidebar on mobile again, hallelujah !!!!
What ever you fixed with the padding looks so much better on mobile. And quest speed was smooth as butter today.
I wish that once you complete a quest and click the start new quest button, that it would actually start the next quest, instead of taking you back to the quest giver's page where you click a different start quest button.
