The new changes to the quest system (quest navigation, fixed quest view, history, stats for questing) in this iteration is a step in the right direction, as it is a lot more user friendly to use (outside of the website errors, of course).
However, a personal gripe of mine is that the new questing system currently does not work too well with changing the website's width. When I quest, I do it with the broswer being orientated with the snap window feature on my computer (this is when you drag a window to the sides of the screen to make that window take half of the screen). For most kumos site features, this isn't an issue since the website automatically scales the elements to fit this reduced size (e.g. if you do it for the forums, you can see it will scale depending on width).
The old iteration of the new quest system used to not have this problem, as it would scale appropriately. You can tell that the sizing feature still works as if you snap the window in the quest pages, the text in the quest window changes to fit the area. However, due to the navigation menu being a fixed size (always being one line and spacing out the text), it hard caps the minimum width that the quest window can take, meaning that it will not fit a snapped window properly.
To fix this, either make the navigation menu scale with the window, make it go over two lines, or compress the text on the navigation menu in response to reduced size. The first solution is the most straight forward as it makes the most sense, however it could be aesthetically ugly to implement with the kumos designs. The second solution would be similar to how it works with the current (old) quest system where it goes over into two lines, however it would also look ugly with the kumos layout to implement. The last option of adding text overflow to the navigation buttons seems the more appropriate option, as you could use a text overflow to reduce the length of the quest names while keeping the current aesthetics. To make the buttons easier to see, you could also attach a reaction/emoji of the quest giver to the front of the name later on in case the cutting off of the quest giver names pose a problem.
Can we please have the back button so that we can go back to the main quests page??? It's a great way to keep track of which quests you've completed and which ones you still have to do.
Thank you for raising the limit for GA users and I didn't realize that you can click on the image of the item you need for the quest to get more info, just like in Auctions. That's great! Thank you for that too.
💀 I thought there was still a 'main page' link -- i'll add that back in!
hmm yeah it looks like a container element snuck into the the latest update, i'll remove that in the next one and you should be able to resize freely again!

Thank you so much!
I just had the same thing!
Rumi asked for Bloodred Mouse which is 999,999 right now.
Black Webcam (209 times)
Blue Mouse (189 times)
Green Floppy Disk (185 times)
Darkmatter Mouse (155 times)
Black Monitor (145 times)
She really loves those items..... okay - Rumi should be fairly expanded in terms of what she is asking for now!

Can't believe the Bloodred Mouse ain't on that list 😭
EDIT: Got the "Error buying item: No query results for model [AppModelsUserShopItem]." message several times while doing Saggi's quests, And sometimes, instead of getting to the completed quest page, it gives me the geek bunny error...
All right, I realized what was going on with the user shop option! Now that I'm sending out the events alongside resetting the quests, we're getting 300-400 users participating in each cycle (less if I reset it after just a few hours, obviously).
If you get asked for an item, and at the same exact time another user is asked for that item, you'll both be shown the same user price. If someone bought it before you, you'd get an error and it'd eat your quest (boo).
Now, it'll look in the user shops and see if there is another copy of the item for the same price, and if not it'll just show you an error and tell you to try again (and it'll show a new price of the next cheapest).
I've also added a logger to this error so I can see how often it happens. If we end up with it happening really frequently as more people use the quests, I might have to return to the 'search shops' link with a way to buy it yourself and come back to the page 👀

Rumi asked for something that costs 2 mill i quiet that quest thats too much for me
Thank you for buying from my shops
What i sell goes towards minions
so thank you very much :)
3 minions to go[/b]
this hasn't caused any problems in terms of functionality but when an item is in stock in the official shops, the quest page lists a ridiculously high amount in stock that does not match the actual shop stock.
for example i just had a saggi quest say of the Yarn Ball Bomb "Buy From Weapons Warehouse (3,939sP, 46 in stock)" but when i looked it up there were only 2 in stock. other items have claimed to have upwards of 80 copies in stock, but i'm sure if i actually looked up the item on the shop search this would also be inaccurate. no clue where it's getting those numbers from.
EDIT: also i actually noticed the listed price doesn't even match. the Yarn Ball Bomb is listed on the shop search as costing 2,172 sP at the Weapons Warehouse, which is less than the quest page is showing. and in this case i kept getting the "No query results for model [App/Models/UserShopItem]" error until i bought all the items manually.
EDIT 2: ok yeah now that i'm checking i don't think any of the official shop prices match, and there are items that are showing on the quest page as being available from the official shop despite that not actually being the case. however it appears trying to buy the item from the official shop through the quest page, even when it's not actually in stock, still allows you to complete the quest. so yeah not sure what's going on there; is it just taking my sP and counting it as me buying the item even though it doesn't exist?
also not infrequent server errors upon completing a quest; it still goes through and i get the reward but i have to go back to reload the page.
Things I love: The ease of finding/buying items How quick the quests go Seemingly increased prizes.
**Things I don't love: ** I got logged out 10+ times while questing, it seemed to happen the most on Rumi The Wizard would say he was dying (I'm paraphrasing) when I had obviously clicked on both items. So I'd have to reload or re-do the quest. Saggi quests were a loss several times. **
Lair Bears Dance Mix! (play it on shuffle)
Saggi's options offered this. The Fresh Breathmints weren't even in stock, but still somehow cheaper than actual user shop price. It did work though.
Yarn Ball Bomb also shows the wrong price from main shop and an absurd number of stock.
Running into "Error buying item: No query results for model [AppModelsUserShopItem]." for Rumi and Saggi. It cleared up for Rumi after several minutes, but still ongoing with Saggi for the last ten minutes.
I still got the error after this last reset during a saggi quest
Now I am getting this error ...

I didn't see the button that takes you back to the main quests page that lists all the NPC's and their stats. Maybe a link for quests could be added under Commerce or in Games?
I'm happy to see you are not getting rid of Wiz Tokens because I'm hoarding them to start chipping away at the vending achievements I still need to finish. And does all this feedback qualify me for the "Helper" achievement??

Here's the items -

that gave this error -

It was difficult to get through these today - so many errors!
Ran into this one
Error buying item: No query results for model [AppModelsUserShopItem].
three times during Saggi's quests. I got around it by buying all the items on Old Subeta and then turning them in via my inventory. The "buy from usershop" option wouldn't work.
Got the Melman Oops page at least half a dozen times from various questgivers.
On one of Rumi's quests, trying to turn in the items by buying from shops just kept refreshing the page but didn't show an error message. Once again I completed it by buying the items on Old Subeta and turning them in from my inventory.
Maleria continues to ask for too many pylonics. There were a few duplicate requests again too but not as bad as when they'd ask for the same thing three times in a row.
Oh, and Kumos is running really slow too, it was just a slog today.
Running into the same problems as has
I also think Sagi asking for five items is a little much, and the same should be said of items that aren't available in main shops and ridiculously overpriced in user shops and not lining up with the old website. i.e. A pair of the dream catcher earrings was listed at 25mil for a sagi quest...that is preposterous for a restockable item.
OOF, SAGG:
Green Dreamcatcher Earrings Buy From User Shops (cheapest: 25,000,000sP)
I think the limited pool of items has become apparent and people might now be buying the entire stock of a thing to turn a buck?
Also, I'm not seeing a back to main quests page button you mentioned either.
