I am experiencing yet another item submission error. I joined a group just short after Subeta midnight and at first had no problems. I added my 5 items and it showed the proper number by my name. I saw this new Group Messages function and thought it was cute, so I added one. My page was reloaded and suddenly one of my added items was gone, showing now only 4/5. I tried reloading the page multiple times to re-add it but the page says I have reached the maximum number of contributions. I thought I could possibly remove the other 4 and it might "reset" me, but no - it is now showing that I haven't contributed any items yet, but won't let me add my items back because I have "reached the maximum number of contributions for today".
Here is a screenshot of it: https://imgur.com/a/pP3zkGF
I am just getting a. It frustrated and feeling so sad about all of this. With the last submission problems I had, and now this. Which feels like a much worse issue. At least last time my items were still in the pool, the counter was just not working. But now my items are out and I can not re add them! ; o ; Please help!

I like the new addition of the wishlist peak, but.. I think it needs to give us a bit more of a peak than that!
At the end of the MM day, I was gifted back one of the same items I gifted someone from the wl peak (not from my wl). The variety of items to view from the pool of wishlists isn't enough. Also, kinda wish we could give more than 5 items a day, but.. that's just me probs lol
Just got an event saying: "A new message awaits in your gift exchange! Join the festive conversation and see what your group is sharing." Clicked happily and got a 404...nice message :D
I do love the new hand out UI distinctly separating what I received, what I gave and what the rest of the pool was. It's a lot easier to figure out what's going on, especially when my short-term memory breaks.
Though I will say I think I havent really received a lot of wishlist items from the exchanges which I thought Melody was supposed to priortise those so people would get at least one WL item? (Unless I've been drastically misunderstanding how that part works)
I read the entire topic, but I might have missed some things that aren't clear to me, if anyone could explain:
I see people talking about ratings (poor, average, ...) where do you see that, I don't see anything like this?
the wishlist peek: does this guarantee that the right person will get their wishlist item, or is it still random?
only 2 others have contributed (Telenine and Tigrean), 1 hasn't (Lain). If I only give the Telenine and Tigrean wishlist items (for example 2 each), will they definitely get it, and not the Lain who hasn't contributed?
- I see people talking about ratings (poor, average, ...) where do you see that, I don't see anything like this? --> This was avail yesterday on the left side above the Group Contributions where you now can read X Different Uses. I think it's removed completly now. ^^

I just wanted to add another two cents: I like the suggestions of being able to select a pricing group (my suggestions would be to have like maybe up to 100k, 100k up to 1mil, over 1mil per item or per total to keep it simple or something similar to that). I like the suggestion of being able to do more than once a day. People who want to only do it once, only have to sign up once. If you want to be more active, then you can do so. I enjoyed the addition of the wish listed item for the people in your group. I think for MOST people that will be helpful - The downside I see to this, will be that there will be multiple wish list items and thus people will get more than one of the same items. (Which is not useful unless they WANT more than one!) One other downside is if the people in your group only have wish list items you can't afford to buy. In which case, to me, you just buy something cute/festive/fun or useful instead.
Huh, I personally don't like the WL peek feature. Today I got the same item 3 times, and an other item 2 times. (Probably because they were pretty cheap, I save many things in my WL for different reasons, mostly bc I see them, don't want to buy them atm but also want to remember them) I liked the pool quality way better. Like that, everyone seemed to take more effort in maintaining a good pool and the chance of multiple duplicates were as low as before. Sadly, if it stays like that, I'm not keen to participate any further.

Welp. Big suggestion-- Private wishlist should not be part of the peak. I have my missing lifelike dolls in one, and I truly do not want to receive them as gifts. I have another private wishlist to track Vesnali flowers, and don't want that to be visible either. I have plenty of affordable WL items (like cheap boosters) I wouldn't mind getting.
Instead... I got 3 copies of two different lifelike dolls. And in the "other items in pool" I could see two others! I could have gotten 8(!!!!!!) of these dolls.

I appreciate people wanting to gift items on my WL, but yikes, the dupes are crazy.
Wound up with 3 copies of a book that was on someone else's wishlist, as four overall were donated. I assume this means one person wanted it, three other people and melody put it there. As the one guy who didn't give it, I got stuck with the overflow.
I think the idea of the wishlist peek kind of defeats the whole "random nice things" vibe melody had going on. I got two nice wishlist items, which was cool, but I've also got nice wishlist items just participating. I'll keep participating for now but I don't rly want a duplicate of wishlist giving that already exists via the tree threads.
I would personally like to opt out of the WL peek. My only wishlist is my owned CWs list. I had to add some boosters just to have something actually obtainable. I know lots of users have passive checklists of things they don't actually want or can buy for themselves any time, such as lifelike dolls. Could it at least be changed to not show from private wishlists?
I also saw a lot of repetition in yesterday's pool, so it seems to be showing the same items and everyone's just buying those and nothing else.
I agree with that. I often have private wishlists of things that I want to remember to buy in the future - usually cheaper items or ones with site currency when I remember. I don’t want someone else buying them for me.
Also- Wishlist peek is only showing me 4 items today. It was showing like 7-9 yesterday. One of those 4 items is a super expensive CW. Is anyone else only seeing a very small amount of items on the wishlist peek?
I also would love categories to sign up for. I am honestly tired of getting cheap masq items that I don’t need. I don’t mind throwing stuff in that’s more expensive and getting items less valuable if they’d be something with some thought or something I actually need. But days worth of random or weird 10 trinket masq or parlor items ain’t it. I did also like the pool quality feature.
I’ve also gotten the same item which is not even on my wishlist, more than once. I’m probably just unlucky with that lol.

Yo, I know I ended up with an item on someone else's wishlist because I was debating on buying it yesterday! Not on mine as it wasn't an item I wanted. No one else gave one so no doubles.
I went through and deleted quite a bit off my wishlist as they're items I'm not actively wanting or needing, just there in case I ever come across them in the donation center or free shop. And add in the random items I may have once wanted but forgot about to remove them. Does it take into account private wishlists as I may have to default one for the accidental items I place on my wishlist.

I was also wondering if it took private wishlist into consideration. Some of my private ones I would want considered but others, whether private or not, I don't want considered.
I think the WL peak is great now that it has been adjusted.
I'm sure that my matches will enjoy how everything that I donated is something off their WLs rather than random junk.
If you have private items on a private WL I doubt it's pulling from that.
It changes every so often. I have watched the WL items change 3 times now since I signed up last night. I have no idea what the timer is set too though.

Over 10 hours later now and I am still unable to add items to the pool. It is still showing that I am at my maximum to contribute, though I have nothing in the pool. T _ T
No amount of refreshing helps and I can not interact with anything else.
- Is there may be any way to fix this? I would like to add my 5 items so not to accidentally wind up be a 0/5 participant. ; O ;

I do like the new messages too, but I feel there could be more personal options. The options are all focused on what you gave into the pool. A simple hello type greeting (like hello thank you for matching with me today or something) could be nice or a thank you response even. I didn't see a way to react to other peoples messages which would also be nice to acknowledge what they say. Ideally in normal conversation if someone said hey I put a book in here you would say thank you so much or be able to react in kindness in some way. I also think even emojis only in chat could be a cool way to communicate but I noticed the emojis only work when tied to a message.

Among the 6 items I received, I ended up with which seems a little disingenuous. At the very least, I feel snow fairies shouldn't be allowed in the pool!
I really like the new UI adjustement with three defined windows for "Items you received", "items you gave" and "other pool items", it's a lot easier to read <3
I know you said that items are factored based on rarity and and price. Personally, every new day, I add 5 cws to the pool. I absolutely don't expect to get anything "worth the same" in return, but I did want to mention it because as pointed in the first line, I ended up with a chamomile tea (a common item with a whopping 2k value) and a green snow fairy that you can find every 5 mins onsite.
I just wanted to make sure cws didn't count as "is not worth anything" and thus equating a cw to a cheap item (does that make sense?)
Edit: Wanted to add that when viewing the items I gave, 3 cws have a "price" but show as "500, affordable". Is it possible that it's pulling this data and thinking it's a 500sp item, as opposed to 500csc item?
Final word: super glad to see MM feedback taken into consideration, thank you so much for revamping MM for everyone!
