Have Your Self A Merry Little Christmas - Bing Crosby
Through the years, we all will be together If the fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Frosty the Snowman
Oh, Frosty the snowman Was alive as he could be And the children say he could laugh and play Just the same as you and me
EDIT - I have to revise my favorite based on the hippopotamus song choices below. Now I am going with Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer by Elmo & Patsy
Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer Walking home from my house Christmas Eve You can say there's no such thing as Santa But as for me and Grandpa, we believe...
All the rest - Original Post
My favorite is the Coventry Carol, but not for the words, for the music - it's actually a really depressing song.... this as a close tie with Oh Holy Night.
Lully, lullah, thou little tiny child, Bye bye, lully, lullay.
O sisters too, how may we do For to preserve this day This poor youngling for whom we do sing Bye bye, lully, lullay?
For the lyrics, hmmm... I am a Christmas-Song-aholic, so it would be hard to pick. Maybe Rocking around the Christmas Tree, but I love Santa Baby, and Please Come Home for Christmas, and Hard Candy Christmas, and Blue Christmas, and Winter Wonderland, and Good King Wenceslas, and Silent Night and... and... and... well you get the point, LOL
Rockin' around the Christmas tree At the Christmas party hop Mistletoe hung where you can see Every couple tries to stop Rockin' around the Christmas tree Let the Christmas spirit ring Later we'll have some pumpkin pie And we'll do some caroling
And last, but not least. In honor of my hometown I am compelled to include Crabs for Christmas:
Oh, I want crabs for Christmas Oh, only crabs will do Oh, and with crabs for Christmas My Christmas wish'll come true
You're so welcome!! 😍 Brinny will send your prize over as soon as she can!! Thank you for joining us ^0^
I find it difficult to choose a favorite as I have so many.
My mom's favorite is I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas - Song by Gayla Peevey
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas The kind I saw this summer at the zoo there's lots of room for him in our two car garage I'd feed him there and wash him there And give him his massage
I can see me now on Christmas morning Creeping down the stairs Oh, what joy and what surprise When I open up my eyes To see my hippo hero standing there
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas Only a hippopotamus will do No crocodiles, or rhinoceroseses I only like hippopotamuses And hippopotamuses like me too
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
My favorite is Jack Frost and the Hooded Crow by Jethro Tull <3
Through long December nights, we talk in words of rain or snow While you, through chattering teeth, reply and curse us as you go Why not spare a thought this day for those who have no flame To warm their bones at Christmas time? Say Jack Frost and the Hooded Crow
I have so many but Christmas Tree Farm by Taylor Swift is stuck in my head right now so we'll pick that one. :)
In my heart is a Christmas tree farm Where the people would come To dance under sparkling lights Bundled up in their mittens and coats And the cider would flow And I just wanna be there tonight
The Hives and Cyndi Lauper - A Christmas Duel
The snow keeps on fallin' Even though we were bad It'll cover the filth We should both just be glad
(It's a little naughty)
Lonely on Christmas Song by Novia Bachmid, Weird Genius, and Yellow Claw
All of these people get inside my head I need to leave, I need to catch a breath Hop in a ride and take it anywhere I've waited so long to feel so lonely Clouded my mind I need some space Headed so far where no one knows me I've waited so long to feel so lonely Pray they don't find me, leave no trace Gotta disappear keep it low key Sometimes I just need to get away

My all time favorite is probably "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas":
I can see me now on Christmas morning Creeping down the stairs Oh, what joy and what surprise When I open up my eyes To see my hippo hero standing there
Congrats <3
I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas
I can see me now on Christmas morning Creeping down the stairs Oh, what joy and what surprise When I open up my eyes To see my hippo hero standing there
My favorite holiday song isn't really a song except that my family family sings it and I'm betting other families sing it, too. I'm not sure where it came from or who made it up but here it is:
The Batman Jingle Bells Song (as sung by my family) Jingle bells, Batman smells Robin laid an egg. The Batmobilelost it's wheels and the joker got away! (Then we make a bunch of fart sounds and collapse into giggles.)
Happy Luminaire!
Too many favorites. I never have just one.
Um
Rebel Jesus by Jackson Browne
“In a life of hardship and of earthly toil There's a need for anything that frees us So I bid you pleasure and I bid you cheer From a heathen and a pagan On the side of the rebel Jesus“
12.25 the maine "All is calm, all is bright And all I want is you tonight Twelve twenty-five Twelve twenty-five"
Dean Martin - Let it snow
Oh, the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we've no place to go Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

being in choir for 8 years while in school has made me despise most christmas music (and that was before I started working retail :'D), however, I am a sucker for NSYNC..
"It's a wonderful feeling
Feel the love in the room from the floor to the ceiling
It's that time of year
Christmas time is here and with the blessings from above
God sends you his love and every thing's okay
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"

It was mentioned before, but my favourite Christmas song is also Fairytale of New York from the Pogues. My favourite line:
I could have been someone Well so could anyone You took my dreams from me When I first found you I kept them with me babe I put them with my own Can't make it all alone I've built my dreams around you
I love how the tone of the song changes from euphoric to disillusioned.
