My partner and I quite like panettone around Christmas time. I've never tried making it myself but I thought this mini panettone recipe looks good c:

My favorite treat.... Rich dark chocolate cake (or even brownies) with raspberry gelee in the center and dark chocolate ganache poured on top.

[spoiler=]
Make a chocolate cake, any shape, you need two layers.
Make raspberry gelee - place between the layers. For the raspberry gelee: 1 gelatin envelope (about 3/4 tsp) 1/4 cup water 1.5 cups fresh or frozen raspberries (6 oz, by weight) 1/4 cup granulated sugar 2 tsp lemon juice -Combine water and gelatin, mix and let stand for 5min. -Cook raspberry, sugar, and lemon juice for 5 min. Then sift through fine sieve to get seeds out. Add to gelatin and mix well. pour into the container shape you use to make the cake and refrigerate until solid (I freeze it to make transfer easiest).
Frost with chocolate frosting.
Pour ganache on top. Cool and enjoy. For the chocolate ganache 12 oz. chopped bittersweet chocolate (do not exceed 61% cacao) 1 2/3 cups heavy cream 1 tablespoon corn syrup
:-)
I like this best served at very cold temperature, but not frozen.
