The highlight of my year was.... Hmmm. I suppose I would say a special trip my hubs and I took to celebrate a big achievement he had this year. :-)

My highlight was getting to see one of my favorite bands since I was a kid. I was surrounded by my closest friends and another one of my favorite bands in the crowd, all singing together.
Hightlights have been hard to come by this year. We did have a really nice Christmas. We had a lovely dinner out on Christmas Eve. Not eaten out on Christmas Eve since prepandemic. Drove around after looking at lights. And Christmas day was nice with dinner and a few times, while opening gifts, laughing so hard we couldn't breath. Also a rarity, especially lately.
