just got back from picking up sticks and logs for my fire I built my own fire pit 2 years ago it is about four feet across all the way around it will easily fit a 3 foot log in it so I have nice big fires but I still have to be mindful incase something happens like fire blows out of my fire pit I'm surrounded by woods the area around the fire pit is gravel and dirt so it's not to hard to keep an eye on it

. I have a neighbor who has a pit like that. Its made out of cinder blocks and its not to code here in Delaware. She actually BUILT the thing around a tree they had cut, that was still standing 12 foot tall. When these loonies have fires they soak the tree with gas and light it on fire. IM over here...20 feet away in my own yard, struggling to breathe and not one dept of the state resources will do a thing about it. Even standing there looking at it with their own eyes and watching them feed the fire with tons of pizza boxes and tons of leaves. Two or the many items we are forbidden to burn in this state. ALthough I love the people who do it with care...these people have made me hate outside fires.

Coco crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. She hasn't been eating for two days, so Kelly took her to the vet today. The bloodwork was all out of wack, her organs were in horrible shape. So I decided to not let her suffer, since there was no guarantee that even surgery could bring her back. I had her for four years and she was a joy.

I am so so sorry to hear about Coco, . The loss of a pet is very devastating.
When I had to put my Rico down, I died a thousand deaths. I hugged him and verbally comforted him the whole time. Even the attendent started crying. I took him home and we all put him in the garden, where he used to love nipping off the cherry tomatoes every summer because they were so sweet. I dont think I ever cried that hard. But he came to me in my dreams that evening, I saw it as clear as day. He wanted to let me know it was ok and he was standing on his back legs against the gate to his yard and was patting my hand with his paws.

Sorry to hear that we never forget them because their souls keep moving from animal to animal u will c a new friend will come along the new animal never replaces a deceased animal but they r there to make new memories and make u smile and be happy in their own way.
