Ah, it makes sense that mass reading would be more difficult. Would it work to have a "reading room" type page off the library where we can "turn in" books (maybe like we "turn in" currency items to certain folks or recycle beast items) and then combine that with an auto-train type feature? Perhaps this could be a trade-off where the books we turn in are not counted as the specific book, but rather as a "point" and then we could select an auto-train type feature where we read x # of books to X pet, and it takes X amount of time? BUT, books only count as being "read" to the pet if they are read individually? So turning them in and auto-reading will increase INT but won't have specific titles show up as read by the pet? Maybe a certain # of pets can do the auto-read for free each day, and doing more pets in that day costs a little sP and/or is a perk of the GA / Subscription? Alternatively, all pets can read x # but reading more would be the cost / perk?
I think this would be helpful for jobs (and whatever else INT level impacts) but would still allow for certain achievements to be an individual task? More variety of ways to engage with the site while improving overall QOL? I don't think most folks would want to read every book to every pet, but would want to raise INT for jobs for every pet?
Thank you SO much for the collect all!
Edit Not sure where / how to communicate this, but I got an event for the forums that said I was mentioned in a post (pinged?) by you () but when I hover / click it takes me to the post for the mention below under Forum Mention (vs Forums) Where it takes me. Screenshot

^_^ Thank you so much! This is a time saver with 60 pets! <3
I really did like that 'store pets' idea you had so info wasn't being pulled off uhm -inactive- pets.

I want jobs that fit my pets' personalities and lore. Players have been asking for some of these types of jobs for years, with magic-based jobs being very high. Just about any NPC, shop, game, and activity would make for great jobs. Personally, I need: Icy Goods, Antique Shop, Merana, something ninja-related, Nature Hike, Farmers' Market, Go Outside, Pina Park, Lukien or something potions master, stuff in Shengui Guo, a detective, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Counselor, Yokai Hunter, magic-attack based...We were told we'd be getting jobs more often. I asked in Halloween 2023 and was told it was taking a bit longer due to wanting to add achievements to jobs. Personally, I'd happily forgo the achievements to have an Antique Shop job. Plus, that was a year ago and there's been no new jobs since. Like many things on this site, I just wish they'd be kept up with.
sorry i didn't notice that there is a total

I feel the battle system stats being applied outside of battle is an interesting part of the job agency, but the daily payoff for several of the higher-ranking jobs may be a bit too small for if compared to the investment applied to them. So, if the system is kept, one would need to either nerf the battle requirements for said jobs or bump up the pay. (Probably better to nerf the requirements, as it won't impact the in-site economy as much).
Also, some jobs can be used as means to make character-based pets more fully fleshed, meaning aesthetics also play a good part in the applications. Maybe future jobs could be created while keeping this fact in mind.
As for rewards, if the Job Agency is completely drifting away from the battle points system (please don't, it's good to earn stats while working), I have a feeling occasionally giving Blue Building Points and Coins (or some other Centropolis-based currencies and items) might encourage more players to employ their pets. But that's something of a silly idea I only added because real-life jobs give bonuses to good workers; and if battle stats are gone, so is the main incentive for some people to employ their pets.

I just want to say that I also appreciate the Collect All button. I was starting to just skip it entirely. My pets are all at varying job levels because I prefer titles over max payout. My strongest pets are all demon hunters and I don't think that something I'd change for cash. I do wish there was something similar for training. A button that maybe just trains the lowest stat for people like me who aren't min maxing builds with max stat pets. That's not a desperate concern, but it'd still be nice. Kind of like how I can also use my GA account, that I've been graciously gifted several times by friends, to just put all my pets into the resort. The resort still has drawbacks because of Quests requiring pets to eat or play with things that I just skip instead.
I would like more pet jobs as well. Besides magic user for my Gourd Witch I'd like musician jobs for my heavy metal band pets. Amber created a topic a long time ago where she was asking for suggestions and there were a lot more job requests in it.
I honestly don't mind there being a tie to stats.. it gives you something to work towards (for instance the Sai achievement for employment) but the problem is reading books to my pet is going to give me carpal tunnel. If we had easier bulk read options or feed options for pets (who doesn't like a good mukbang?) I would be a little more enticed to push my modest battle pet to a new career. For now she's just going to be a weapon tester.
I just noticed there's now the phrase "Income Collected Today" above each pet (after income has been collected). That's very helpful, especially with the "Collect All" button (because it sticks out in my brain less that I collected already). Thank you for adding that in!
I've gotten a Bad Gateway page when I collect all income the last 3 days in a row. I'm still getting the sP, but with a broken page that makes it so I can't see the breakdown or any bonuses my pets are getting. This started the first time I tried to collect with 66 employed pets, when I previously had 64, so I wonder if I've crossed a threshold and now have too many? I'm not getting error pages like that anywhere else on the site. Not the biggest deal in the world, but I do like seeing it.
Edit (Dec 8) - this has continued the same way all week, BUT if I manually collect two individual pets first it stops the error and does show the breakdown. So it's definitely a threshold of 64 pets for some reason
NEW EDIT, Feb 27:
Update - my last issue with the collect all income button resolved and it was working smoothly for a couple months, but today it seems fully broken - clicking it just loads a blank page, and the income is not collected. Collecting individually does still work.
Not sure if this part's relevant but I tried collecting from my phone earlier today, which I don't usually do, and it loaded the blank page there so I assumed maybe it was a mobile issue. But now I'm back on my computer and the blank page persists here too.
