I just added a small addendum at the bottom of Gelashell's guide for anyone who wants to attempt it at tier 6. It can be a little tough to gauge an opponent's difficulty at times because not everyone has the same equipment, AP, experience level, etc., but I gave it a test drive and didn't have too hard of a time so I figured it was worth mentioning. Thank you to for the idea :P

The lucent is good too for gelashell. I was using that and the gunblade

do we know what they drop and when? Like should I stop fighting the glider after 25 wins, or keep going for 50? Other then drops and the achievements, is there a reason to keep fighting? like do we need to defeat a certain amount?

You should definitely go for all the achievement prizes, I'd say. Jess has listet their drops under the spoilers in the opening post.

To add on to what Boa said, didn’t give them standardized loot tables so all they have is 5th win loot and achievement prizes. You can find the achievements over here.

What would you recommend as the best strategy to fully neutralize/overpower Wizard? I got to 35 wins without too much trouble but really getting stonewalled now that he has too much HP to get chain frozen down reliably and my strongest hitting weapons aren't sealing the deal before we start the healing stalemate. Would a fully scaled Twisted Keeper Focus eventually steal enough to neutralize all the heals/blocks? My crystal set up has me able to resist steals and freezes almost infinitely for the most part.

I recommended Twisted Keeper Focus because of its dark attack rather than its stealing, although I’m sure the stealing can help :P But your pet is big enough that you can swap it out if you want. It doesn’t heal very much and there are probably better options for you at T13. Look for things with strong single icon attacks like Manifesting Weapon, which does 30 dark. If you can find two weapons in your armory that have the same element(s) in their attacks, even better. (MW would even be a good thing to pair with the Focus since they do 60 dark icons together!) That makes the Wizard block less of your attack icons since they’re mostly condensed to one or two elements.

Alternatively, you can use things like Ornamented Hook Swords for its steal protection blessing. That frees up a few mod slots for elemental crystals that can add to your damage, or freezing crystals to give you a better chance of keeping him frozen.

One more thing you can try using is Gelatin Slayer. Against the Gelatins it heals 10% of your health with no cap so your pet can get a 1,000 HP heal each turn.

It’s going to get harder with each win though since he heals a percentage of his health and his health keeps going up. So you’re not necessarily doing anything wrong if you’re not winning anymore, he’s just a tough opponent. Looking at the high score table, it seems most people are tapping out at 50 wins.

Thanks for the tips. I'm combining Manifesting Weapon and Corrupted Shadow Sword now and having a lot more success, up to 46 wins now :) Healing seems to barely matter at all, I'm never under full health. MW/CSS constants, Recycle Blaster, Soma Tablets, Volatile Mecha, and my best bombs are putting in work. Leaves lots of room for MW to do steals. If I get super lucky and Blast/Soma 2x Gelahealths it's basically a guaranteed win lol

MW + Gelatin Slayer w/ 3x BNAT crystals and 1x Parched Baguette & Volatile Mecha & Sonar Scream Scroll. Stuffed my other slots with junk that wouldn't help him if it got stolen. If MW/GS got stolen just restart. Forced the fight until I stole literally every single thing he owned and beat him down XD

Yessss, suffering but this is my first gelly war I've been around for and was not giving up that easily :) Hydragellos Essence is just a stat booster and not something I need to save for some Genetech shenanigans right? I can't find anything about them

I’m glad your persistence paid off :D I would keep one copy just in case. There could be some new Genetech shenanigans this year, but we can’t know for sure until Hydragellos is out. It never hurts to be overprepared :P
