I never heard of that until a few years ago, and then it was like oh yeah, this has been a southern favorite all my life - where have you been? Hmm. I like both foods separately but never had them together. I would try it tho. :)

Oh, I agree with you. Except for my son's BBQ chicken. OMG it's the best I've ever had and one of my 2nd top favorites of the meals he cooks. A-MAZ-ING! My top favorite is his enchiladas. Mmmm...

Fried chicken and waffles are one of those odd dishes that you wouldn't think would work, but are really good. Ah! Home cooked BBQ chicken is a different dish. Very much a yum in that case. Even better with a good cook. :)
