Well.. Last Wednesday.. Tuesday night I spent the night at my parent's house to watch the dog and cat. While mom and dad kept vigil over my grandma. They came home around 2 am saying she had passed just around 11.
I'm not sure how I feel.
I know the grieving process so well by now. I feel I keep bouncing from numb, to acceptance, to tears, to having a fight song stuck in my head then over again.
Last Thursday was my little cousin's birthday, my sister's is this weekend and another cousin's is this month as well. We all find it hard to celebrate, but we try.
The funeral is Friday.
I.. One thing led to another with our family's communication with each other. And now I find myself one of the pallbearers. Myself and some of the other grandchildren. The immediate children, most are physically incapable at this time.
I pray I have the strength and don't break down when I'm needed.
Hey everyone! I'm alive. I've just been quiet and I forgot about bathhouse, so it reset. Again. Lol. It would be nice to get 890 days again.
My hand is healing well and I really don't have any pain. Both hands reacted differently to the same surgery (my right hand was done 4 years ago). It's very odd.

: Just a little update to my Author Mark's summer. On Wednesday, the water damage company brought back all his furniture and belongings from the family room and kitchen. 96 medium boxes. Tuesday, the Restoration contractor finished all the work and Mark signed off on the contract. Now all they to do is restock everything. should be easy to sort through 96 boxes.
so maybe things can get back to normal after 8+ months!
Wowee gorgeous Congratulations!!! My older son having same issue and mold from the basement to the rest of the 2 top floors. Previous owner of the place was lazy and never did any type of work on the house, plus asbestos. So son and his family, had to find an apartment to live. They had to pack their whole house.
